This review is from: Imedeen Tan Optimizer, Sun Preparation Formula Dietary Supplement, 2 Month Supply 60 ea (Misc.)
I read about this stuff in the NYTimes and looked it up, I found it here on Amazon.com. "Acetic Acid (Ester of Monoglycerides Derived from Oil), Soybean Oil, Beeswax (Yellow), Lecithin, Gelatin, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Caramel (Color), Titanium Dioxide (Color), Carmine Red (Color)". Err, there's nothing in there you wouldn't expect to get from your daily diet. Acetic acid = vinegar, soybean oil is in freakin' everything, Beeswax you'll find in honey but is really very little different from waxes present on the surface of most plants. Lecithin is a phospholipid from plants, Geltain is there to make the thing jelly like, glycerin and sorbitol provide osmotic components to retain the water in the capsule, caramel (burnt surgar) gives it the right color, Titaniun dioxide is used in paint and toothpaste to make things white, and carmine (originally extracted from beetles) adds some red coloration. And for this baloney you pay $80? Qudos to the people with the chutzpah to market this garbage.
