Like a breath of fresh air, February 26, 2008
I heard Drew play at the Winter Beer Festival '08 in Grand Rapids. His music was really refreshing. A nice change from the stuff on the radio. The music is soothing and the lyrics stimulate your imagination. His songs tell stories that I could relate to. They remind me of simpler times in my life.
I also like the way that he arranges the lyrics and the way he arranges his music. Both seem very well thought-out. The lyrics flow nicely and seem thoughtful without being complicated. The guitar music is smooth and fairly detailed without being overdone. He makes it all seem easy.
Overall, this is really good music.
