This book is only 180 pages long and starting on page 81 is a list of immigration attorneys that goes on for 10 pages. This list is followed by "sample" immigration forms... So, all you are really...

I purchased this book to assist me with an immigration law class that I am auditing in a law school. I am a practicing attorney, but have not done any immigration law. This book is only 180 pages long and starting on page 81 is a list of immigration attorneys that goes on for 10 pages. This list is followed by "sample" immigration forms... So, all you are really getting here is 80 pages of text on a very complicated subject. This is the Reader's Digest of immigration books...

I've read them all!

I bought this book wanting to learn how to bring my finace to the US. There is absoultely no mention of this in the book. On the back cover they state "Here is everything you need to know to introduce you to U.S. immigration rules and regulations." Unture.

I will be returning the book. Thank you Amazon for your return policy!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the Reader's Digest version, October 19, 2002
Immigration Made Simple, an easy to read guide to the U.S. immigration process was written to introduce the complex subject of immigration to those who needed to have a practical understanding of the rules and regulations of our system. The title is self explanatory. This book was not written to be used as a law text nor to provide comprehensive, indepth descriptions of our immigration laws. There are many other books that fill this need. Immigration Made Simple, now in its 6th edition, has been ordered and reordered by thousands of libraries, academic institutions, corporate personnel and individuals who wish to have a better understanding of the U.S. Immigration process. It has also been a #1 Quality Books bestseller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Immigration Made Simple, March 24, 2006
I found this book to be very informative and easy to understand considering immigration laws are difficult. I work in an immigration law firm and brought the book in and one of our top paralegals felt it was a great reference book and actually ordered one for our office.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great resource!, May 1, 2000
I used this book as a source for my term paper on Immigration Law. It was very interesting and easy to read, and it covered almost everything I needed to know. It even included a directory of immigration lawyers!
