This is a good book for those who need an introduction to immigration law and the forms sent to various government agencies. Anyone other than a beginner, however, may want something more detailed.

This is a good book if you need samples of the forms. But not a lot of detail about the rules and regulations.

In the first four chapters, as I read this book, my thoughts were, "No wonder there are so many illegals here. The forms, timelines and rules are not straight forward."

And in the end, I learned so much about not only completing the petition for visas for the many different statuses, I garnered from this book compassion for the immigrant who, rather it's for work, business, to seek asylum, or family needs aspire to be part of a better life.

What I didn't get from reading this book was the cases, and details about either Immigration court or ICE.

This is a comprehensive reference guide without being a law book.

I'm an immigration attorney and bought this for my paralegal in the office who had never worked in immigration before. The topics are quick and easy to understand, albeit a little too short. At least it provides a starting point for paralegals to understand so I'm not constantly going over the basics.

I had to buy this book for school and this was one of my favorite classes. I really enjoyed the book and it came with a cd that had forms that you can just fill in. I really enjoyed the book along with the class. This was a great purchase
