Very Interesting,
By Mike Shaw (London, Ontario Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Immortal Animal Souls: Joseph Hamilton's Animal Futurity (1877) Together With the Debate Among Karkeek,Spooner, and Manthorp on "The Future Existence ... (Mellen Animal Rights Library Series) (Hardcover)
I reviewed this book before it went to publication. Prof. Preece is a friend of mine and we have chatted a number of times on issues regarding animal rights and animal welfare. I have found him to be one of the most knowledgeable people in this area. I highly recommend anyone of of his numerous books. In this case, he has edited material from a time that does not get much press when it comes to animal rights. As such, this book is a great importance to people who are serious about the study of the history of animal rights.Mike Shaw London, Ontario
