Excellent book. I would recommend this for anyone who likes a Fantasy book.

When I was recommended this book, I didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I did decided to read through it because the twists that the book has leaves you wanting more. I thought that the creative outlook on the world and how he see's his characters were extremely well written along with the tone and narrative approach he uses. I would definitely recommend this book for others. Heck I've read the book 4 times now just to catch certain things that I missed the first time around. All in all I would rate this book a 5 star. If I had to compare it, the book would be rated almost as good as the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. Definitely a MUST READ!!!

Yes honestly, I had run out of intelligent books to dive into.
So, I give this book, two thumbs up and five stars. I will not Spoil it for you though.
So, I am big into LOTR, but I read anything honestly, anything! I love Chrichton, Kootz, Piers Anthony & even Charlane Harris. I had just finished the last Sookie novel and was in desperate need of a new entertaining novel. Yet after being subjected to every little teeny bopper vampire book they could print, I had almost given up until...... I found this one!
The characters are easy to relate to and you really sympathize with them. There was one point where I was touched so that tears filled my eyes, then just as quickly I was laughing uncontrollably due to a huge dark comedic moment. I found this novel to be quite entertaining and not the bland same old same old that everyone else is throwing out at us. I feel the writer intelligently thought every detail over before putting it to paper, and yet it flows poetically.
Immortal Journey takes you next door into another world. Yes, as crazy as it sounds, you wont have to go far in order to travel years into time! It starts off in the dwelling of any rocker kid that you went to school with. Maybe you turned you nose up at his long hair and Heavy Metal T-shirt, or maybe just maybe you were one of the few who actually noticed what a cool guy he was but more importantly someone even more powerful noticed him from afar! That is where everything changes and you are sucked into somewhere that Utopia would even want to go. Then, you are ripped from the joy and pulled into a fight for love and vengeance. What a disaster of a book! The only reason that I finished it is because I got fascinated by how breathtakingly bad it was. I have read some pretty sophomoric prose in my life, but this actually appears to have been written by a Sophomore. In high school.
When the best parts of the book are the Tom Swifties (Oh My God! said Tom spiritually), and the plot, well, what plot?
First book in a long time that left me wanting less. At least I didn't buy an actual book. Thank you, Kindle.

This is a great read, I enjoyed it from cover to cover.
The primary allure for me besides the fact that it is a solid fantasy based novel is
the author makes a gradual transition from modern settings to medi-evil type enviroments and
making it quite believable. From Dragons to Vampires, Werewolves, Magic, Combat, and Romance.
The book reader wont feel like this is just another cookie cutter fantasy novel.
This is truly a unique and Epic journey every lover of the Fantasy genre needs to take!
