This book is a classic. The author refreshingly looks at the work of Thiruvalluvar with secular outlook and without any bias. He methodically uncovers the key elements of Thirukkural that makes it immortal standing the test of time over thousands of years. He also lists ideas/thoughts from the Kural that he believes are outdated to give a well rounded view. A must read.
