What a wonderful experience it was!

The book is a very interesting read and one that echoes the experiences of many who have lost loved ones (if you're open to the experience).

I've had spiritual experiences throughout my life that only a handful of people knew of. Never really knowing if others had this connection. A brother I had recently met suddenly passed then my Parents died 6 days apart. All three came to me in dreams. At times my brother Dan made my art table light go off and on when I spoke his name.

Diana has shared so well, the sudden death of her best friend and husband, her grief then her total belief that Ed was really still with her and leaving messages. I believe!! She also has shared other friends experiences which adds to answering the question is their a life after.

Well written and Diana keeps you reading. I highly recommend this book if you have lost anyone close to you, you will see in your life the signs that were given and you will know!

This is a story of how partners become soul mates and alter one another's lives through the love that is shared between them. Diana's husband dies and goes to Heaven and shares visions with her about where he is. She crosses over a bridge of non-believing to a faith in a life here after. The heart takes us places the mind cannot comprehend or even want to do so. It is a story of enlightenment and unconditional love that has no end. You will enjoy the journey Diana's heart goes through and the transition of an empty heart to one filled with hope and love. A book on healing - yes, yes, yes.

This uplifting book of hope and spirit is particular powerful because both Diane and Ed did not believe in life after death at the time Ed died.

Despite her grief, Diane was able to keep an open mind and kept noticing small, niggling coincidences. Her scientific mind sent her on a quest for more information, first about possible life after death and then how to more clearly receive messages Ed was trying to communicate.

This first book from Diane is authentic and written from her heart. Anyone with a loving connection to someone deceased and an inquisitive mind will find this story fascinating and inspiring. I would also recommend it to those suffering from terminal illness and their loved ones.

I have just read Immortal by Diana Hewson. What a wonderful experience it was! I kept hoping it would go on and on. Ms. Hewson writes beautifully of what she believed to be her love and loss. Although she was firm in her belief that the afterlife did not and could not possibly exist, it took her partner and best friend to show her differently and guide her through to a new thought process. Ms. Hewson discovered that her loving relationship had not ended, it had only changed form. Ed's love, support and even his sense of humor are very much alive and well.

Having lost my Dad and many other loved ones, this book was of great comfort to me. Mostly, Immortal confirmed what I have always believed. When the physical body can no longer tolerate the insult from disease or injury, our soul is set free and actually thrives.

I am a hospice LNA and have encouraged my fellow health professionals as well as my patient's families to read this book. Ms. Hewson is truly a gifted writer who has allowed us to share in the intimacy of her spiritual growth.
