Growing up in a small North Carolina town gave me plenty of time to dream of Hollywood and vampires. I loved escaping in a great movie or fiction book and discovered I wasn't bad at writing it either. But I didn't think that was going to pay the bills or that anyone would take me seriously.
So I graduated high school, college and graduate school, then moved to Texas for law school. After getting married and having two babies, I decided it was past time to start doing what I was passionate about. No more excuses.
Now that I'm a wife, mother, attorney and published author--I couldn't be more thrilled!

Great Informative Novel Collection,

It seemed as if I was reading just short bits of stories but I was mistaking, this is actually a great collection of many novel segments put together, and I think it is a great way to get exposed to many famous novel writer to understand their writing styles before going ahead and buying their books and spending loads of money for books that you my even not like, although I must say that all the writers included in this collection are absolutely great writers.

To be straight up, I was not too sure if I liked the idea of a book featuring "samples" of other novels rather than short stories like most anthologies. Clearly the price hooked me so I figured 'why not'.Turns out most of these stories are really good reads. Caden provided nice long segments so you can really get into each one before making a call if it's your thing. All in all I'd say the idea felt weird at first but I'm happy I scooped it up because I got a really great group of reads for my money.
