Editorial Reviews

Produced, recorded, and mixed by Jack Endino (High On Fire, Nirvana, Seaweed, Supersuckers, Mudhoney, Hot Hot Heat), and while not devoid of the signature sound Valient Thorr has cultivated across their three previous albums, this one has a decidedly sharper edge. They've toured incessantly, averaging close to 250 dates a year since 2003, and have enjoyed high profile stints on the Vans Warped Tours of 2005 and 2006. They've also toured with such varied acts as Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, Eagles Of Death Metal, Gogol Bordello, Fu Manchu, and Motorhead.

If you love the metal punk of bands like Suicidal Tendencies and Agnostic Front then this is a cd for you.
They hit you right out of the gate and never let up.I was not familiar with this group before i picked up Immortalizer but now i want to hear everything they have.
COC style chops that are dripping with punk angst.
Buy this.Put it in your car.Drive real fast!
This is sure to leave you with a sore neck time and time again.

This album rocks! Nice to hear some real rock and roll for a change. Fans of 'Maiden, 'Priest, and Motorhead should buy this right away.

I saw this band on youtube the other day. They looked funny. That was the first impression that I got from the band. But, soon I realized that this band is something more than that. I started digging this band and ordered 2 albums and listened to them carefully(damn you, bestbuy.... you don't have this album when I wanted that night). Now I can tell everyone that this band is serious. They write catch songs and play awesome. At this moment, my faves are Mask of Sanity, Tomorrow Police, Parable of Daedalus, Red Flag, Nomadic Sacrifice, Steeplechase, and... Tackle the Walrus. I just wish the band only the best. They don't look like Linkin park or A7X. But their music is as catch as Turbonegro and the band can play like Dokken.

Tomorrow Police, great song. Album is worth buying for that track alone. If you like rock music, this belongs in your catalog.

Decent modern-day metal effort, nothing special but okay and all. Saw these guys recently open for Motorhead on their current 'Motorizer' U.S. trek. Personally, I liked them better than I did the disappointing Misfits - since now they're stripped down to a trio. Tunes I tend to notice the most were "Infinite Lives", the heavy-duty "Tomorrow Police", "1000 Winters In A Row" and "Tackle The Walrus". Sort of maybe like Suicidal Tendencies-meet-(you guessed it)-Motor(freaking!)head. Personnel: Valient Himself-vocals, Eidan Thorr & Voiden Thorr-guitars, Professor Nitewolf Strangees-bass and Luxian Thorr-drums. WHERE did they come up with these stage names, from a Captain Marvel comic book? Could maybe appeal to fans of Danzig, D.R.I., Cro-Mags and the Hellacopters. Only downside is after seeing Valient Thorr perform in a live setting, they may be a bit difficult to take 'too seriously'. But, I mean - isn't that what live rock and roll is (more or less) about? Wouldn't mind catching them again playing in a seedy hole-in-the-wall dive.
