This review is from: Impedance Spectroscopy: Emphasizing Solid Materials and Systems (Hardcover)
A classic work in the field of electrical impedancecharacterization. MacDonald provides a series of methodologies andmodels to characterize chemical processes and materials in general. The main contribution of this book is the introduction of the constant phase elements that formally help to match the experimental measurements with basic electrical circuits.

The book also expands on the physical meaning of the different electrical circuits that the author proposes as models to characterize materials. This book is a "must" for any researcher in the field of electrical impedance.
