1.0 out of 5 stars Great History, Bad Writing, December 14, 2000
This review is from: Impending Peril (Paperback)
This is a great historical story, written so poorly, it made me want to cry. I hung in there because I'm interested in this era and its events, but I won't be buying the rest of the series. Mr. Frash worked very hard on this book; he did his research and he crafted a strong plot with interesting characters, but it just isn't written well. Maybe a good editor could have made a difference.

5.0 out of 5 stars Action, adventure, pre-WW1, all rolled up into Matt Hunter., December 16, 1997

This review is from: Impending Peril (Paperback)
Bill Frash has opened this trilogy of Matt Hunter, Captain USMC, with a bang. You will want to read more and more as you travel the world with Hunter, and under many guises, trick, fool, fight your way in and out of international intrigue and conflict. History buffs will love this work. If you like action, military or civilian, you'll want to own Bill Frash's Impending Peril.
