It's a fun show. He's the MacGyver of medicine which often cracks me up as he seems to almost always have what he needs in his bag. If you like realistic medical shows, I wouldn't recommend this one. But if you like fun and silly while often touching, then this is the show for you.

I started watching this series for pure relaxation. The first season provided just what I'd expected -- was quite fluffy, lightly comic, an easy "filler" for a night with nothing of value (to me) available on other networks. But I got hooked on the cast and decided to subscribe. Good call for me. Each season has pleased me more, with its growing intensity of plot and character development. (The show even cast a friend of mine in a small part, and what a surprise that was!) But this latest season...WOW. I'll keep subscribing to this show as long as it runs, and I hope it's in for a long run indeed.

This was the 2012 Holiday show and did not disappoint. Location is gorgeous, women are beautiful, and the intrigue is terrific!

We never watched the show when it aired live. But since it had been on for five seasons, we thought it might be a good show. After purchasing the first season, we were hooked by the character development, the weekly situations, and the on-going dramas. It is nice to find a show without unnecessary violence, drama, and touch of humor.

I love this TV Show!! I have watched every episode more than one time and every time I see something different in the characters. The relationship between each one is honest and refreshing! I love Hank and who would not want a Doctor like Hank. Divya is such a strong woman character and at the end of season 3 we find she is willing to be true to her self and not go thorough with her arranged marriage. This season starts off with the brothers at odds and Divya trying to fix it! She has to call in the big guns in the form of Eddie R. Lawson. Any of the shows with Henry Wrinkler is great even if he is on screen for one scene. And then there is Boris! His and Hank's relationship is dynamic because of Boris not being so trusting and Hank being loyal to him and respecting this trust that Boris does give him! This season ended with Paige and Evan getting married and Hank becoming the patient! This was one of the best episodes! I love Paige! She is not the spoiled rich girl and she is just so fresh and honest and brings out the best in Evan! After having the perfect wedding with just the good stuff after one disaster after another and it just ending with Hank being in surgery it left you wanting Season 5 to hurry up because Hank is the thread that ties them all together and you can not help but wonder how they are going to all handle Hank being vulnerable!!

I am sad to see Royal Pains make such a downhill slide this season. It used to be a series that had some great emergency medical stories and how Hank could improvise his way to solving a challenge, and saving a life with plastic tubing and a pen knife! This season is more of a nighttime soap about relationships, the business of Hank Med, and some hyped up drama about nothing with Boris and his Russian friend. I mean did he really need to take the SIM card out of his phone before heading to the mansion? Who is writing this stuff this season? Sorry that I got the season pass!

As usual, all the characters work well together. Enjoy watching it alot. Mark Feuerstein makes a good linchpin for the other characters.
