These are very nice replacements for my beat up flat metal floor registers. Wood register covers just look better on hardwood floors.

Be aware that the wooden cover has more thickness than a metal cover, so while the thin metal covers are nearly flush with the surrounding floor, this wood cover protrudes a bit. Not a problem for me, but do expect it.
