LOVE this! Used it as a kitchen backsplash & painted it gold. BEAUTIFUL! Looks just like REAL metal tile! HUGE MONEY SAVER!!! GREAT ITEM!!! Beautiful pattern! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

This was product was better than I expected. It didn't look cheap, it's even prettier than the image display, and the time and mess it saved me was priceless. I needed to stage my home for sale and didnt want to paint everything. The majority of the house was already painted and clean so I opted for this product instead. I removed old wallpaper (floral stripes) and replaced it with the "Imperial" and WoW!, what a difference. Didn't bother with painting it since it was so beautiful (and since it's paintable, the new homeowners can paint it). I also used it in the bathroom since there was tile halfway up the wall. I used this product to paper the other half all the way to the ceiling. Thank you for making this product.

I purchased this paper to cover an old tile ceiling I had in my kitchen and hallway. The results were unbelievable. The ceiling looks like it belongs in a decorator's magazine. It's the most attractive ceiling I have in my house. The paper is very heavy and well made and the pattern is extremely attractive. For the cost of 3 rolls of paper I have a beautiful new ceiling. Well worth the money.

Used this on my kitchen ceiling. Painted it copper using spray Rustoleum (wear a mask). MAGNIFICENT. It was fun to watch peoples' jaws drop at the beauty. Copper add a pinkish hue to the light in the room making everyone appear more beautiful and healthy.

Unfortunately Rustoleum no longer offers a real-looking copper paint so when I do it again in my new house, I'll have to find another solution or another metal. FYI: If you use a real copper paint, the ceiling will begin to grow a green patiina. You may or may not like that. It grows in areas that are subject to humidity such as over a stove or by an open door in a humid environment. If you decorate around the anticipated patina, you can look for it with some anticipation

The two major problems I had with this product is getting it to stick, and matching the pattern; apparently due to stretching in the process. It's pretty important that the pattern line up, and with EVERY row we ran, it would match dandy for the first yard or two, then get more and more off, with no remedy or reason. VERY frustrating!
The prepaste is there (it stuck to itself when I left an open roll in the MN humidity this summer and was destroyed), but far FAR from sufficient for holding to a ceiling(even with proper sizing/primer). We ended up using new paste, and liquid nails to get it to stay up.
It is a brilliant concept, but I would only recommend it for experienced installers who can do it fast enough to avoid the stretching problem. It did cover a rather hidious ceiling and you have to actually "look" to see how bad it is at the seams, so it's still a win for me over all.

When I saw the product for the first time, I was so happy because I finelly found something that could solve my problem. I purchased an old house that has plaster walls in poor condition. I cannot aford to hire a contractor, so I do most of the work myself. First, I thought I have no choice but to remove plaster and install drywall. The plaster walls had red flames painted on them. When I saw this wallpaper, I desided to fix the wals and put the paper over it. It looks awesome. I have totaly different room now. I will purchase more to do other rooms.

I bought this wallpaper for my bathroom, bed room and laundry room. Looks fabulous in all of them! Very rich texture. One pointer I would give is to use a wallpaper primer, I found Shieldz at my hardware store. Without a couple good coats of primer, it might not stick in some areas when dry. As with all wall paper, the prep work will either make or break you, so dont think this is a one day only job. That said, the product is a good weight and takes paint easily. I love it. I have already gotten compliments and folks asking where I found it. Well priced too.

This is the best bargain of the century: The Imperial VP12160 Architectural Tin Ceiling Paintable Wallpaper is an awesome product--inexpensive, looks great, saved $500 over the real tin ceiling in a remodeled kitchen, and people are really "wowed" by its beautiful appearance.

The product went up quickly, except it did NOT have the pre-pasted feature that was advertised; however, it worked even better by our applying our own wallpaper paste!

This was the perfect solution for an ugly ceiling! I took many hours trying to sand it and prep for a smooth coat of paint. Then I gave up and decided to look into other options. I found a similar product at Home Depot and Lowe's, but decided to look on Amazon for this same product. I found it for much cheaper!

The product I received WAS self pasting, but I used extra wallpaper paste just in case. The results are wonderful and don't look cheap. The ceiling looks like real rile was used, and the seams are barely noticeable.

I would recommend this for many uses!

This product is even better than expected. My purpose was to create a faux backsplash. I painted this with a gold metallic paint and it looks like real tin!!! I love this product so much I'm thinking of wallpapering my entire kitchen with it! Only drawback is that I don't think the "prepaste" really works. The panel I put up by adding water to the manufacturer's prepaste has some bubbles in it. The other panels I put up using actual wallpaper paste has no problems. So I would suggest getting a tube of wallpaper paste instead. Truly amazing!!!!!
