Loved the ready-to-use lessons. I'd been looking for a way to use the 6 Traits of Writing for more than just assessment and the lessons matched to every trait and every score made it easy. This resource has undoubtedly enhanced the skills of both myself, and my students, to a whole new level!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Resource, April 13, 2005
This review is from: Implementing an Effective Writing Program (Paperback)
This book has done wonders for my students. It is easy to use for both the teacher and student, helps diagnose where students need work and then gives interesting, hands on, worksheets and suggestions as to how to adress the problem. Well worth the money. A must for any teacher that teaches writing or writing within their content area.

5.0 out of 5 stars Write From the Inside, April 21, 2005
This review is from: Implementing an Effective Writing Program (Paperback)
I wish my child therapy clients and their schools would use this approach to writing. So many "failures" by students and those those teach them are just plain unnecessary, given the right tools. This resource is creative, based on sound educational research, and all ready to go. Life is long, and there is much for each of us to say.
