Very basic...not much detail,

After reading the good reviews of this book, I decided to purchase it, being that I will be implementing ISO27001 this year. Having read the book in its entirety, I'm unable to recommend it. This book is very concise, but not very much detail...just a notch above the actual ISO27001 controls checklist, but with short descriptions added. I was hoping for a book that would assist me with initiating the program and one that also provided detailed explanations and examples of the controls, but this book did neither.
You may be better off using a free reference source on the Internet. |
