1.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate and out-of-date, August 15, 2002

PeopleSoft has changed dramatically since this book was written. Even if the book were up-to-date, it is so lacking in detail that it would provide little benefit.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book should not be sold, April 7, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Implementing PeopleSoft Financials: A Guide for Success (Hardcover)
This was a marginal effort when it was released back in 1997. It sold only because it was one of the few PeopleSoft books on the market. Now that it's old, it is simply sad that any retailers are still selling this, or moreover that the publisher (Manning) is still pushing it.

Calling this book merely bad would be generous.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Basic, September 10, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Implementing PeopleSoft Financials: A Guide for Success (Hardcover)
The book provides a very basic overview of an implementation of a packaged application. In this case "PeopleSoft" is used as the drawcard. There is nothing new in the book to anyone who has been involved in any sort of packaged implementation.... disappointing.
