About the Author

Nick Harris is a Senior Systems Specialist for the AS/400 in the International Technical Support Organization, Rochester Center. He writes and teaches IBM classes worldwide on areas of AS/400 system design, business intelligence, and database. Nick spent 11 years as a System Specialist in the United Kingdom AS/400 Business. Phil Ainsworth is a Senior Technical Specialist from Melbourne, Australia. He has 18 years of experience with IBM, having worked on the S/34, S/36, S/38, and AS/400. His areas of expertise include Windows NT running on the Integrated Netfinity Server, Client Access, communications, and PC connectivity in general. Phil was a member of the team that wrote the first edition of this Redbook and has also participated in other residencies on subjects such as Client Access, Novell NetWare coexistence with Client Access, and connecting Apple Macintosh to the AS/400. Steve Fullerton is a Software Engineer in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been with IBM for 10 years, including the past 6 years as a member of the AS/400 Support Center's National Technical Team. Steve's areas of expertise include Client Access and PC connectivity. Antoine Sammut is a Senior Consultant with Synergy, a leading IBM Business Partner in Melbourne, Australia. He has 10 years experience with the AS/400, LANs, and WANs. Antoine's areas of expertise include Client Access, Novell Netware, Windows NT, and network design and implementation.
