When I opened the box shrimp came falling out.

There is no way I will use a product from a third world country that has no label or import identification via a US distributor!

To be honest, it tasted like eating the shrimp shells with no shrimp.

This product came by mail from INDIA! In a crushed box, with no labeling of any sort. Has no resemblance to the product depicted. The shrimp are dried but still in shells and in small pieces. There is no way I will use a product from a third world country that has no label or import identification via a US distributor! If I had any chance of getting a refund at would try but as it is - forget it!

Box arrived on time. When I opened the box shrimp came falling out. I pulled the bag out and it had a large hole in it that had teeth marks. I looked in the box and there was a hole in the box that was covered by tape. Glad I bought these for my cat to see if he likes them. After seeing rodent holes in the box and bag they will be going into the garbage. As stated in another review the photo used in the ad is not what you receive.

Actually, the dried shrimp needs to be softened first. You wouldn't need to worry about its shell. It needs to be soaked in water for 15-30 minutes. Its ready when its soft enough to be easily chopped up. Then it can be used in stir fry. The price here is ridiculously expensive. It should only be around $2-$3 at an asian market.

Do not buy from this seller. First, it does not look like the picture. It doesn't have any label or brand name or anything on the packaging. Second, it tastes like crap. I've purchased and eaten products like this before, and this is not how it's supposed to taste. It's supposed to be dried but salty like beef jerky, only this is supposed to have a fishy/shrimpy flavor. This product was so dry it didn't have any taste at all. To be honest, it tasted like eating the shrimp shells with no shrimp. BE WARNED! STAY AWAY!

Very salty. It's like drinking saline water. It's cheaper in individual package. Even soaking in water does not take away it's extreme saltiness.

I bought a bag of this at the Asian store and it had a very pungent Shrimp smell. Since I didnt know how to use it, my experience was less than useful but upon reading other posts here, I have discovered that you chop them up after soaking them. I think that once this is done, they will be ok. Best to get them at an Asian Store.
