5.0 out of 5 stars Impossible the Manifesto by Joel Runyon March 19, 2012
By Mary
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a wonderful, inspiring resource. It shows you the way to have courage when you don't and inspires you to do more than you think you possibly can. So the title is quite fitting and it is all about doing the impossible.

5.0 out of 5 stars A motivating factor for me in my life March 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I came across Joel's manifesto a few months back as I was doing a little soul searching. Much like Joel, I had come to a point in my life where I was not living up to the expectations I have for myself. I wanted to do more, be more, and achieve more. Reading this manifesto helped light a fire under me. Gave me the confidence, motivation, and tools to pursue goals I had that had some how found themselves on the back burner. It's a very light read and Joel has a way of writing that emphasis a conversation with the reader. It's almost as if he's right there next to you speaking. Pick it up today and don't look back!

3.0 out of 5 stars For those who need a Quick Dose of Motivation October 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I grew up on motivational books but after reading a hundred or so they all start to sound the same. The struggle to expand your sense of what is impossible is a legitimate journey that we all take. With that in mind I will never condemn a writer who makes an honest effort to inspire others. This booklet is a quick reminder of the simple process you must go through to break down mental barriers. It is a very easy read, it's straight forward and makes no great claims. Impossible encourages the ambitions of its readers and from then on it's up to you. For less than a dollar on Kindle you can't beat the price. I read it only days before entering my first 5k race, perhaps I wanted a little confidence boost. Like a 5 hour energy it perked me up right when I needed it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Self-Discovery in about 15 minutes!! November 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was the nuts and bolts of prepping to "write your life's story" whatever that may involve and for me, this manifesto made me realize something new. I KNEW that I was standing in my own way with so many things in my life - it's always been "me standing in MY way". But for my business, Joel Runyon pointed out something that I never realized - I was addicted to inspiration. I belong to a very successful team and I felt pretty successful by association and I am one of its biggest cheerleaders but I always knew that success had little to do with MY contributions. I will continue to be a huge cheerleader but I will stop living vicarioussly through their success and figure out how to be an inspiration to others. Thanks Joel~

Many of the ideas in this book are not brand new, but definitely more targeted towards the now. I'll be taking a cold shower in the morning.
