This was a frustrating story that had unrealistic characters or at the very least, an extremely stupid heroine. Ashton and Luca had grown up being best friends and neighbors, but when his father dies, he pushes her out of his life and seven years later, they have no relationship at all despite living next door to each other. Ashton is popular, beautiful and snobby. Luca is a "freak" with tattoos, emo attire and a band member. Each can't stand what the other has become.

Then Ashton's best friend Kance betrays her socially and romantically in the worst way and Ashton becomes an outcast with no friends. Luca, feeling sorry for her, agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend after he has gone through his own major external overhaul and becomes a gorgeous guy. While battling their true feelings for each other and their bodies' natural desire for each other, Ashton continues to be snobby and selfish while Luca begins to see a small speck of who she used to be.

Start Spoilers****
It is Ashton's stupid behavior that really kills this story. Not only does she choose the wrong guy based on popularity, but she forgives her backstabbing friend setting her up to stab her again - Big Time! Luca isn't free from stupid either as he declares his love for Ashton but betrays her at the first chance he gets. It is never clear if he is drunk or swallowed a date rape drug, but come on! Also, Yuri's relationship with Luca doesn't make any sense.

I just found this story frustrating and somewhat stupid. The sexual situations were flat and the feelings afterward were confusing. The ending just made me mad. Lucas messes up, refuses to pursue Ashton and just gives up. Ashton realizes that she never gave Lucas a chance to explain and pursues him two hours out of town and tells him SHE is sorry. He messed up, and SHE is sorry?! Come on, get a back bone. The ending was just too fast and just wrong. END Spoilers***

I found myself skimming all the extra boring details, especially in the beginning and will not be reading any more in this series. I just can't take the stupid characters.

Would I/Did I buy it? Yes (.99)
Would I read it again? No
Would I recommend it to friends? Not really

I'm sorry but I did not like book. The main female character in this story is so mean and unlikeable. The whole story was entirely to shallow for my liking. I read a lot of books. It is what I do to relax. I will admit that because I was so bored I skimmed this story a lot. The description was much better then the story.

This story was so romantic and realistic!!! I think that the author did a fabulous job executing the plot of the book, it was like I was actually there. There are multiple twists and turns that I think you'll enjoy. I would take at least a day or two to read it because with every page you're constantly on the edge of your seat...this is absolutely AWESOME!!!!

I loved this book so much. I really enjoyed the plot and even the the main character girl wasn't the nicest, there are logically reasons that made the reader understand a little about why she was like that. I love the relationship between the two main characters and I liked how they had history when they were younger. This story shows why it's good to be one of the good guys and how there was always a consequence when you decided to stay stuck up and self centered. The whole book had really good characters and had me question what would happen next. Impossible is a must read book that will change you view on what really matters in the world.

This book is a must read! Loved Loved Loved this book. I fell in love with all the characters and the story line was great. I got angry and laughed with this book. I have re read several times since I purchased it and it is still as great as the first time I read it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My Thoughts:

Stories about a boy and a girl who are fighting the feelings of hatred and love at the same time thrill me. The whole opposites attract thing. It almost always ends up in the formulaic fashion but I like it. It’s the journey I love more than anything, the banter and the feelings that overwhelm. This story had it all.

Ashton and Luca are the right kind of pairing to root for. They grew up together, fell apart, and are now finding themselves in situations that are bringing them together again. Ashton isn’t necessarily the best person, she’s actually quite the mean girl. I hated her for that, I admit it, but at the same time I hoped that she would learn and grow up. Luca, however, you can’t help but love him for all he is. He’s a wonderful guy, and you want Ashton to notice and realize that he’s there.

There is more to this story than the romantic tension. There are some the high school dramatics that take place with Ashton’s best friend Kance. It tears Ashton apart from her friends and draws her to Luca. In the midst of the drama, the reasons why Ashton and Luca drifted apart come out. Then all those years of being apart makes sense.

Impossible is quite possibly impossible to not like. The sexual tension is well played, and the romance isn’t overdone or underdone. Komal Lewis has made a great debut as an indie author. I look forward to seeing the other stories she has in store.

My Rating: Very Good
