Ok, For starters,I'm the biggest fan of the band. (no seriously).Although I love the new album, the older (Pass out of existance) is definitly better, betterlyrics, sounds etc. This albyms overall sound differs from the other but is stillone ahs ripping album. The cd cover really doesnt change much though. But the cd (because the band is so awesome no matter what they do)is still one of the best metal/rock w/e cd's i have ever listened to, I think chimaira is one of the most overlooked bands out there, I don't see why they aren't like superhuge mainstream, I mean, dam ... they are good.

I'm certainly glad to see yet another band from the Cleveland area starting to become pretty big along with Mushroomhead. M'head and Chimaira, though, are in two totally different categories.Chimaira is a welcome refreshment from the over-saturated nu-metal market, and this album is definitely harder than their first. Much harder. The music is drilling, fast, and furious (and please don't think I am associating it with those awful movies). The only problem I had with this album were the lyrics. While the music is hard and heavy, vocalist Hunter tries to keep up with his words, but fails; ending up sounding fake and overly dark with lyrics about murder and hating everyone. Anyone who buys music for lyrics will be disappointed to say the least, this album falls quite short of their last in that department. Anyone who buys albums for the music will be pleasantly surprised at the band's change from their lighter, over-produced "Pass Out Of Existence." The bonus track on the UK edition is nothing to clamor for, by the way. Although it is a good song, "Army of One" is just like the others: harsh music with sub-par lyrics.
