Great intro to some of the world's most famous paintings and artists
This book does a wonderful job of introducing children to great works from masters like Manet, Morisot, and Degas. There is a timeline that establishes the world of the Impressionists and several pages devoted to each artist. The language of the book is written in an easy to read and engaging manner which keeps even the young readers interested. I would recommend this...

Seriously disappointed...but might be okay for a 7 yr old
What the listing doesn't state is this book is written for children. Probably good for a 7 year old but had that been stated I wouldn't have purchased in the first place.
