This is a great resource for those of us that have too much credit card debt. I hate to say it but this includes me.

This is nothing more than an article of information that you can find on any debt forum. 99 cents or not, I'm sad to have seen my money go down the drain on this.

This is a great resource for those of us that have too much credit card debt. I hate to say it but this includes me.

An excellent point made in this book is made even before the first tip, where Edward recorded all of his debt into a spreadsheet. It sounds so simple right now but you really don't know how bad your situation is unless you write it down and assess what is really weighing you down. I did this for the first time last year and it really opened my eyes.

The tips in this book are easy to do and I truly believe they are necessary for anyone that is struggling with debt. This is a great book and you surely will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Common sense, but not common practice..., January 29, 2012

Anyone who has struggled with debt should take time to read this short book. The author is spot on with the key steps to improve your credit score today. As a small business consultant, I continuously hear from people who want to start a business but can't get any funds to kick it off because of their low credit score. Banks and credit card companies DO consider your personal credit score when determining whether to loan your company money. You simply must have a good credit score to get a loan. And if you take the actions suggested in this book, you'll soon be on the road to getting what you seek.

Managing your credit cards and your credit card debt is crucial in today's economy where credit card companies are scrambling to stay afloat with higher and higher interest rates. We as consumers need to be wise about allowing credit card debt to take over our checkbook and our futures as well. Here are some GREAT tips on how to avoid eventual bankruptcy and financial ruin that many people are facing on a daily basis because they think they can pay another day. Having a GREAT credit score is like money in the bank - really, because you can count on creditors being more willing to lend to you in the future.

Read this book (I needed this as a refresher course about checking my credit score and why not to close my credit card accounts that are paid off. )
Make mental notes of what to do and what NOT to do in the future. Very practical guide. Get it. Read it. Live by it.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to Improve and Protect Your Credit Rating, February 2, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Improve Your Credit Score In 5 Easy Steps! No Matter How Much Debt You Have Now (Kindle Edition)
Short, simple and totally free of jargon, this book could be one of your best investments on the journey to financial security.

The author explains his history of debt and the five vital steps he took to ensure that despite owing over $50k at one time his credit rating never suffered, and how much this helped him and his wife pay off their debts once they made the decision to do so.

The steps are simple when you know how and obvious once they're explained, but there are millions of people who don't manage to live by them, even so. For that reason, "Improve Your Credit Score in 5 Easy Steps" could be described as essential reading for young people at the beginning of their financial lives.

Because everything so simply explained I think everyone should be able to understand and implement the author's advice. Apart from "spend less than you earn" I think everything important is covered in this easy to read book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Took my head out of the sand and bought it, February 2, 2012
This review is from: Improve Your Credit Score In 5 Easy Steps! No Matter How Much Debt You Have Now (Kindle Edition)
A couple of years ago I went through a personal bankruptcy. everyone keeps telling me to deal with and sort out my credit rating. To start managing it again and to build my credit score back up. But do they tell me how? No, they just say 'there are ways and there are things you can do'.

It all sounds so complicated, and I really did not think there was much that I myself could do. Surely it is all up to the banks and those type of financial organizations?

I decided to take my head out of the sand and do some research. So bought this book.

It actually does what it says on the tin. Even I could understand it. And it did not take me ages and ages to go through.

Step number 4 made me really think. I never thought you could do that. I always thought it was just in the hands of the gods.

Actually I think even if you have a good credit score or rating this would be a good book because you can learn and understand how to keep it that way. Sending it to my brother who always boasts of his perfect credit score, but I don't think he has a clue how it got it or how he can keep it like that.

What a fascinating and helpful book - it turns on its head what I thought I knew about credit scoring, and shows how to get out of debt in such a way that you limit the damage to your credit score. Tip #3 was particularly surprising.

I think this book is valuable not only for anyone who is a little bit or massively in debt, but for anyone who isn't, but fancies taking out a credit card.

Great book for the young and debt burdened.
So many kids get into debt before they have a clue about what it does to your life and plans for the future.
Parents, grandparents, anyone with a twenty-something loved one who's racking up student loans and creditcard debt should make sure they get this information ASAP.
Covers all the basics and provides much needed hope to those currently struggling with high debt loads - if Edward can do it, so can you!

This review is from: Improve Your Credit Score In 5 Easy Steps! No Matter How Much Debt You Have Now (Kindle Edition)
I received this book for free in return for an honest review. Much like the author of this book, I've been dealing with debt and with trying to keep my credit score as high as I can while paying it off. So I'm familiar with a lot of the ideas he presented in this book--and they're dead-on. Following his five tips will help you maintain your credit score or even make it higher, depending on where you stand right now. As he points out in the book, keeping your credit score as high as possible will help guard against credit card companies raising your interest rates, among other things. This book was written in a clear, easy-to-understand way, and was just the right length--long enough to cover all the information without including a lot of fluff. I would recommend this book for people who don't know much about how to protect or raise their credit scores, especially if they are in debt.

I received this ebook as a gift and I've always been fascinated with credit scores and the mystery around them. When I applied (and fortunately received) a mortgage this year and they told me my credit score I was pleasantly surprised - although there is always room to improve it. There are a few great tips in here that are immediately actionable to improve your credit score in this short report.

I also recommend checking out Credit Karma - they are an online service where you get your credit reports for free in exchange for them recommending better credit cards and loans for you. Seems like a great service that has received a great deal of press.
