Emily Dickinson, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr., and Buddha all get time here, as Dr. Wayne Dyer tells a television audience why he selected the 60 individuals he featured in his book Wisdom of the Ages. Don't look for visual stimulation in this 80-minute video set almost entirely on a Florida resort stage, featuring Dyer flanked by little more than potted palms. Dyer, most known for his book Your Erroneous Zones, augments his presentation slightly with scrolled quotes from some of his subjects and brief clips of him and his family. He does, however, acquit himself with a self-deprecating sense of humor and a passion to inspire. "Don't die with your music still in you," he beseeches his audience early on, and he proceeds to give them every reason not to. --Kimberly Heinrichs
