If I may, I would like to qualify my review by saying this is simply from my own personal experience, and it is by no means, a definitive elaboration on learning. I grew up with AHDH before a lot was known about it. High school was really tough for me, but at the same time, I knew I was not stupid. After graduating in 1979, I floundered for many years. At 26, I finally got accepted at a Big 10 university. This series of books was the first of its kind that I had ever read, and it literally got me through undergraduate college. It was not until I got to my first graduate program that I was diagnosed and treated, so the whole series by Mr. Fry was of inestimable value to me. I always fall back on the basic elements I picked up from reading his work. As far as writing goes, I was able to get into an honors writing section as an undergrad and I finished my first masters thesis in 4 months, with Ron Fry's advice and explanations as a foundation. That was back in 1999. I am now in another grad program in which I received a full merit scholarship and I purchased the Kindle version of the book to refresh my memory. Will it work for you like that? I have no idea. But I would recommend trying it very highly.

Salient, concise and practical. An easy read and yet an excellent resource even for those at the doctoral level. Highly recommended for all students struggling with writing class report or research paper and thesis or dissertation.
