This is a hands-on book. I wasn't trained to teach comprehension, but with tools like this book, it is much easier.

This review is from: Improving Comprehension with Think-Aloud Strategies: Modeling What Good Readers Do (Paperback)
This is a very good book. I wanted to help my son understand better what he is reading. As a parent and not a teacher, I would use this book by reading it first and then distilling the information to use with my son. Other books may provide ready-to-use texts, however this one requires reading it first.
