This book is jam-packed with interesting pyrotechnic expertise. I have to admit that you would have to be completely insane to do half of the things in here, but there are quite a few that are relatively sane for backyard experimentation. Great buy.

Loads of information, with good illustrations. Would be a must have if you are in Iraq. Everyone would have a better understanding of improvised munitions if they would read this book, that includes the press.

Its a Practical Book, that applies to the most desperate of situations. Its recipes are safe for ther average IQ person to apply. It covers alot on IMPROVISED METHODS and will not leave you helpless. Its name isnt solely its contents. It also covers the Basics tha are often Missed in HOW BOOKS. [...]

1) Supposed to contain recipes "safer" than the anarchist cookbook - never read it(edit: meant, that at the time I wrote this review I haven't read the ACbook yet, though now I have, but this review is correct, I read a copy of TM-31 before reviewing), but if this were true we wouldn't have anarchists anymore. Goes over some basic primaries, some of the recipes leads to unstable products, and mislabels them as high explosive

2)Could go over more third world chemical sources

3) Expanding on number 1, definitely could use more modern recipes

However that said, its a pretty good book considering it's meant for untrained army operatives in the 1960's. Though outdated in today's terms, with the right amount of tinkering you can modify and perfect the methods in the book.

Good copy reprint. Cover and pages similar to original although smaller format. For reference, perfect. Not an original document.

Received this book today and found it to be a new printing of a 1969 book with old and outdated information. I am very disappointed with this purchase. Do not waste your money on this!

It is authentic military information but it is made available to the public because a new updated edition has been published. At least that is my understanding.

unless your planning on breaking into the local armory.. not much you can use here.
but it is a good reference book.
unfortunately there should be a dis calmer..
Don't try this at home!!

The munition book is a false representation of true munitions. It contain dangerous mixtures to kill the user. And the intention is to commit murder. Amazon is guilty of supporing the "approved" munition reference.

Every injury is to cause the manual originators and Amazon executives a true reprizal.
