Product Description

Size: 35-44 lbs - Junior | Color: White

ImseVimse Training Pants are functional and stylish and are made with organic cotton. Kids love the trim and comfortable fit. Organic cotton knit outside with two layers of absorbent organic cotton terry on the inside, and one inner layer of PUL. ImseVimse training pants protect clothes from getting wet when small accidents happen. Recommended for day-time use only. Not recommended for nap-time. Tips: For older children and heavy wetters, increase absorbency by adding one of our organic diaper liners. For extra protection, try adding a diaper cover, as needed. Washing Care: For best results, turn inside out, wash on warm or hot, hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. No bleach, no fabric softeners.

I highly recommend these training pants!!

Imse Vimse training pants- 28-37lbs- These feel like the outside is more water resistant than cotton (the inside feels like cotton).

They wash up well and are absorbant enough to hold an accident without drenching their clothes.

I'm confused by the people who are negatively reviewing these. I've used these to potty train two kids, working on my third. They DO hold ONE accident- they are training pants, not diapers. If you want to use them for nap times, you should use a cloth diaper booster. You also have to wash them correctly or they will lose their ability to hold an accident. I believe it's the layer of polyurethane-laminated polyester that will lose it's ability to hold liquid in if not washed properly. I have some pairs left-over that are sadly no longer absorbent and some that hold an accident perfectly with no leaks. I'm sure it's because my husband (or myself) accidentally put them in the wrong load of clothes. Do not wash or dry these on high heat! If you are familiar with cloth diapers and expect these to perform like a cloth training pant, these will not disappoint. If you expect them to be exactly like a disposable training pant, they are not. They are reusable, will not go into the land-fill and they will help potty train earlier because of the wetness detection. Hope this helps. I've tried a lot of different cloth diaper brand training pants and these are hands down my favorite. (Also like all cloth diapers, no fabric softeners, they will build up on the cotton and cause them to not be absorbent.)

These are great if your little one is dry most of the time and has the occational accident. The first week we did a lot of laundry, but 2 weeks down the road and we are suddenly miles ahead. He can feel when he is wet and he can pull these up and down himself. Disposables kept him comfortable and not having a desire to use the potty, regular cloth training underwear held nothing. These will keep small accidents from becoming a big mess and big accidents from being a disaster.
I wish I had bought more. They seem expensive for underwear since one pair cost the same as a pack of the disposable pull up kind, but it saves money because you don't have to keep buying them over and over again. I guess it all works out in the wash.

These are wonderful. Please wash a few times before wear to increase the absorption of the organic cotton. These pants, as well as the velour version, are much thicker than most and hold more pee. The brilliant part though is they-feel-pee and your-sofa-isn't ruined because there is a PUL liner hidden. This is the same thing that the baby's cloth diapers use and the reason they are more expensive than others. If you are at the late stage of training and just want a little extra coverage, buy something cheaper. These protect your house without another bulky cover. They also contain poop really really well. Even uper big accidents--never a leak once.

Some people expect training pants to contain as much pee as a diaper or a toxic/potting training delaying/expensive disposable pull up. Um, no, and you shouldn't expect them to. A few accidents and the occasional pair of pants that need a change are fine and just part of the process.

These are awesome training pants! They hold one accident really well and are the trimmest training pants I've found. They look like real underwear. Great for when the child needs protection from occasional accidents. They are not as absorbent as a diaper so they should be used once the child is doing well with potty training.

I have several different kinds of training underwear and we always reach for our Imse Vimse's first. I have used Imse Vimse for potty training two boys and am currently working on my third boy. These work great!

Positives:
1. Material - Soft terry on the inside, cotton on the outside.
2. Keeps the wet in (has the liner in between the two cotton layers), even with active boys.
3. Easy for child to put on and pull up.
4. Fun design. "I want to wear the cow underwear!"

Negatives:
1. The tag is in the front. Maybe they've changed this since I have bought mine. This is a minor irritant, but it confuses the child when on everything else the tag "always" goes in the back. I can live with this.
Maybe negative #2. My Imse Vimse's worked fabulous for the first two children but they are starting to wear out for the third and don't hold the wet in as well, I've been having to use plastic panties over my Imse Vimses. Everything wears out and I like Imse Vimse's so much that I am buying some new ones!

Suggestions:
1. For night time, I find that a hemp insert put into the Imse Vimse is the way to go.
2. Be cheerful when potty training! Cheerfulness will train the child waaaay faster than the grumpies will. :)

I was super impressed with these soft cotton trainers! They are just what we needed. My 3 year old son is potty trained during the day but we needed some protection at night and naps and I was tired of buying the disposables.

These little pants are really soft and have a waterproof layer built in. The waistband is nice and wide, isn't too tight and the leg holes are soft cotton binding too. I just wash and dry then inside out , not a problem at all! These trainers helped him not to be lazy and to notice when he was wet. He did pee in them one night and just the waistband of his PJ pants got wet.

We were using the Gerber cotton pants with the Gerber all in one trainers on top but he would get EXTRA sweaty and the Gerbers were super crunchy and HUGE. He called then his mushroom pants! They worked fine but he was uncomfortable.

These Imse Vimse trainers wouldn't have worked when we were first potty training because I think you would be changing a lot of clothes. We used the disposables for a while as a transitions step. A good idea if you don't want one leak.

Just bought a few more today!
