Great product and saves money while saving on trash.

She is very small for her age and tiny around he waist, but the diaper seems to fit tightly enough (without being too tight) around her thighs and waist.
Suzy
The side snaps make putting the diaper on and taking the diaper off EASY!

I purchased one of these for swim lessons last spring as disposable swim diapers were not allowed, plus I didn't want to waste money on a pack of disposables. It did great and I loved it! The snaps on the sides were the #1 reason I bought this particular brand...imagine taking off a wet cloth swim diaper, that fits snugly to keep messes contained. She did poop a couple times when she was in the wading pool at home. It will contain the mess...depending on the consistency. If it is a loose stool, the water in the pool will break it apart, therefore allowing some to escape. Like other swim diapers, these are not meant to be leakproof, so it was no surprise you could see some come out. If it is a more solid mess, I imagine it would be better.
I am about to order my second one for my daughter for this year! I love it and have recommended it to others.

We used this diaper all summer and it was perfect. It was much easier to get on and off than the disposable swim diapers. My son is a little skinny guy and it fit him perfectly. I would say that it runs a little small based on the weight recommendation.

I really wanted this to work but the first time my son pooped in it, it totally leaked everywhere! I have the size large and my son is at the end of the weight range so it isn't because it didn't fit. It just doesn't contain anything in it. It is a cute diaper but not functional what so ever. This is a waste of money.

I was hopeful... The side snap is nice as is the soft fabric, however it doesn't do the job. I put it on my son to check the fit - it is advertised as 11-17 lbs but the tag says 13-17 - and he conveniently chose that moment to poop. I put him in his bath to test it, and for the first 2 minutes it seemed like a success, but then the poop started to escape little by little. It came out the back, which seems a little low, and as my son is about 12 lbs right now I can't imagine this working any better for a bigger baby. Unfortunate, because I wanted to like this and feel comfortable taking him in the pool with it.

We love, love, love these swim diapers. The snap-closed sides are much nicer than the pull-up style, and they are easier to wash than the velcro kind (which seem to stick to other laundry). They have the plastic liner that the public pools around here require, so we don't need an extra set of plastic pants, like you would over a disposable swim diaper.

We took two of these and one of the velcro kind to Mexico for a weeklong beach vacation, after using these diapers for swim lessons for a year. We had never had poop in one until the vacation, but were relatively pleased with how it dealt---the poop stayed in the diaper until she was out of the water, and even when she started running away from us (of course---she did not want to be changed) it was mostly contained. A tighter fit (our daughter was on the borderline between sizes) might have solved that problem, and then they'd be perfect.

What I like:
- Snaps make it easy to remove*
- Little ruffle is cute
- Practical - reusable swim diaper
- Not a disposable swim diaper**

What you may not like:
- Not leak proof. If baby is playing outside the water, then this will only hold in messy pants. If I have an experience of out of the water pee, I'll update if that happens. It might contain a litle pee because when I get out of the pool, the bottom has some water captured inside - but easy to squeeze out. Even if this Imse bottom holds in the pee, there is nothing to soak it up so the pee is going to get on SOMETHING.
- If you get a messy pant, then you've got to clean it up. If you don't use cloth diapers (and I don't), then this is something "new". This is applicable to all reusable swim diapers.

Comparable products:
iPlay elastic waist/leg swim bottoms: I don't like that there isn't a matching top. I usually put the bottoms on under a regular bathing suit, but then a funny pattern sticks out. Does absolutely nothing to hold in pee. Like a funnel.
iPlay full suit: Exceptionally difficult to put on.
iPlay with snaps - I purchased an iPlay white swim diaper with snaps. It is still a little big, so I have only used it once and it has a similar feature as this Imse bottom - easy off with the snaps. I also like that I can put a white swim diaper under any bathing suit and not have a pattern clash.

Notes:
* If the bottom is dry, it is easy to slip on with snaps already done up
** I want to avoid disposable swim diapers.

I can officialy say after this weekend that it does a good job of holding in poop, and its very easy to wash out. However you have to be on top of it. Im sure if he stays in the water with poop in the diaper it will start to breakdown and leak out. But if you catch it right away- no problem. My son is on the lower end of the weight range and it still works great. Love the snaps- helps alot trying to get diaper off.

We have a big boy- 43 lbs at almost 2 1/2 yrs old, so we had to find something bigger than what they sold in stores. Hesitated on this initially because of price, but it is so worth it. Love how thin it is, great fit, and dries quickly because not much to it. I also like how easily it fits under swim shorts, can't even tell it's there. Would buy again if needed!
