Very poor quality,

Over all this is a poorly put together product. At the price I didn't expect a whole lot, but I expected more than I received. The biggest problem was that the stainless steel coating was breached in several areas , especially on the rivits where the handles attach. The pot itself was of very thin metal and looked like it would become damaged very easily. I decided to retun it as soon as I saw it, and spend the extra money on a better made product. This might be OK for some applications, but for a little more money you can get a product that will last much longer and have fewer problems in the long run.

Only 16 quarts!,

Do not buy if you want a 20 Qt pot, this one is only 16 Qt. I had to return to Amazon twice. It is clear to me that this vendor is selling this pot as 20 Qt when it is not. Amazon said they would investigate, yet this item is still listed on their site. Why would Amazon let this vendor lie to their customers?

I should have read the reviews before I bought this,

The other reviews are correct. This is a shoddy product. It's of inferior quality. And it's pictured with a lid but doesn't actually have one. I realize now that if it came with a lid it would be titled "stock pot with lid", but I didn't before. So they should get a picture of one without a lid. And if you actually want a good stock pot, buy something else.

The Pot is a Lie,

As a homebrew pot, this would have been sufficient. It's thin, cheaply made but serves it's purpose. My issue with the product is it's a lie. It hold four gallons. 20 quarts is five gallons.
They did not ship me the wrong pot, it's simply not 20 qts but 16. I'm also not the only person to have that experience with this pot. Take my advice, and buy a different pot.

We purchased this as a gift to be used for home brewing beer. It came with tiny round dents all over the lower sides. It is also VERY light. We returned it because of the dents, but had reservations about giving it as a gift just because of how light and cheap it felt. I would recommend spending more and getting a better pot.
*This was my first return with Amazon and I have to say I was impressed with how easy and painless it was- kudos to Amazon.

I was so happy to find a stock pot this size for such a great deal! Took no time to ship and I'm sure my hubby will be thrilled at Christmas and can finally start homebrewing!

This pot works well for me. It's a good deal for the price. Wish it had a bit of a thicker bottom to help distribute the heat more evenly across the bottom of the pot. Would probably work better with a gas stove than my electric. My biggest complaint is having to try and peel the sticker off of the front that the manufacturer sticks on. It doesn't come off easily and needs goo gone for complete removal.

Bought as a Christmas gift as part of a homebrewing kit, will work great for that! Sure it's a little thin, but it's inexpensive and will be fine for making wort. Mine did come with a lid, no dings, scratches, etc. It is also 20 quarts as stated. Will be perfect for intended use.

I purchased this pot to use as a brew kettle for brewing homemade beer. This a great pot and not given me any problems, it is thin but it works great for what I am using it for. I would buy it again.

After researching local stores and the internet, this stew pot proved by far the cheapest and yet maintained high quality. Good buy!
