In my humble opinion, the best release Clapton has put out. It is expensive now, and sometimes hard to find. Pity. They should have re-released this one instead of its' newer cousin "Live at the Fillmore". No matter; you really can't lose with either. The version of Why Does Love Have to Be So Sad is worth the price of admission here alone. This is basically Clapton in a "jamband" format, and as such there will be inevitable lulls where the band struggles to find its' place. But once they find it, watch out. Beware the interminable drum solo druring Let it Rain. Oh well, it was the 70s. But what you will find here is some of the very best guitar playing EC has ever layer down, and I don't say that lightly.
