my daughter loves this show. She has watched all seasons and continues to watch them over and over. I have seen some with her and its a good clean cut show about a group of 3 friends who happen to swim in magical water that turns them into mermaids when ever they get wet. There are a few other characters that keep this mini drama moving right along. i would recommend this to any young girl who likes mermaids and drama. Its a great clean cut show that i have no problem with my daughter watching.

I'm compelled to write this because I was relieved to see that my 6 year old son loves watching this. It's mostly clean fun...although
I will say that my standards have dropped so low it's hard to tell. At least it's much better than the Disney channel afternoon-evening cesspool. Unfortunately, my boy has always enjoyed "older kid" TV. The educational and amazing morning Disney Playhouse stuff would roll right into the contemptuous afternoon "Teen Disney" "Disney Junior" stuff. OMG. I'm sure Walt would be embarrassed and fire them all. Oh, the shows are "well written"and funny/snarky....but for jaded, cynical adults. The shows are veritable factories for turning your innocent kids into horrible social creatures. They're sassy, snarky, rude, disrespectful, mean, crass, cynical, critical, narcissistic, greedy, arrogant, ---and kids absorb it, mimic it, and become it...fast. I LOVE THESE areas in ADULT COMEDY/DRAMA, but it saddens me to expose kids to this stuff. And I am NOT a right-winger---I'm liberal! Yikes, we don't let kids vote or drink or XYZ until late teens or twenties, yet we'll destroy "being a friendly, nice" person starting at age 9-12. (Or much earlier at least in our household.) Yep, I can turn off the TV(I do!) Yep, my kid is too young for these shows. He's too young for H20, but at least it's not a constant infusion of how to repulsively treat other kids/adults. Kids (0-20) need positive influence...at least to balance out the all the "drama." I get it---it's the same thrill/addiction/rush as eating junk food. So, to pull it all together, Wehre Disney is serving up junk & candy, at least H20 has some nutrition. It's not health food, but hey....I'll settle.

My daughter can't get enough of H2O. She loves the show an it is family friendly. It seems to keep her attention and I don't have to monitor it for bad issues.

This show appeals to a wide age range. Our young daughter loves it. My wife and I love it. It is a wholesome little show about young women learning to deal with being different while protecting their secret. The acting is good and the stories are not complex. There is a lot of humor in the show, but it is not a comedy. I also like that the young women are strong characters.
