Editorial Reviews

Here are 24 more recordings singer Al Bowlly made in London with Ray Noble and His New Mayfair Dance Orchestra in the early 1930s, just a small fraction of the many songs the pair made during that period. This compilation also contains one track performed by a small group directed by Noble, with Bowlly singing in Afrikaans. Vocalist Val Rosing is featured on one track. Includes the songs I'm Telling The World She's Mine, Try A Little Tenderness, How Could I Be Lonely?, Lights Of Paris and others.
