5.0 out of 5 stars A must read! June 28, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
In Santa Fe, Salacious is salacious. It is the story of a hairdresser who is murdered in the St. Francis Cathedral. He is found there and, when Cinnamon and Burro start to investigate they find a lot of people who wanted him dead. They are all involved in the metrosexual Santa Fe scene. The victim also struggles with drug addiction. The story tells not only who committed the murder, but how the addiction problems affected his family and his friends.

Still, the tone of the story is humorous and silly. It's a fun read and gives a feel for the other side of Santa Fe.

4.0 out of 5 stars Santa Fe, Saucy September 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I found this book through a Group forum on Goodreads and was hooked in by the title. You can't even read the title in your head without adding a saucy timbre to your inner voice. Try it and tell me I'm wrong!

Having read the story the title didn't disappoint, the opening scene is dripping in sexual tension, innuendo and a strange concoction of asparagus, lentils and blueberries. Once drawn in, Tower doesn't let you go. Wild and wonderful characters play out a murder mystery that has enough twists and turns to keep Sherlock Holmes satisfied.

The scenes Tower describes are rich enough you can taste the steaming heat of the Santa Fe afternoon and feel the sweat dripping down between your shoulder blades; while the pace keeps you entranced and turning the pages until Marco's killer is exposed for all to see.

Tower packs a hell of a lot in such a tiny punch and you're left wanting to dive straight into the next book to follow Cinnamon's hunt for the secrets of her mother's disappearance twenty years ago. I did and I'll be there with her right to the end.

5.0 out of 5 stars In Santa Fe, Salacious September 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Drug addiction, criminal activities and the salaciousness of the characters is what make this book an amazing and interesting read. In Santa Fe, Salacious I enjoyed the way crime and drug addiction is uncovered, and how the murderers are brought to book, this is a book with the potential of making a very great movie. I recommend this book to all those who enjoy reading a well written book in every sense of the word.

More About the Author

NEW RELEASE -- NOVEL LENGTH -- In Gallup, Greed, available in print and digital.

Lonnie is stabbed to death while his sister, Mirage, is in a black out. Did she kill him? Gallup, New Mexico provides the backdrop for greed, scrambled brains, illicit love, and murder in a mystery thriller. Cinnamon and Burro trail a gallery owner, a young boy with TBI, and a group of greedy young artists through the high desert, looking for a murderer. Burro suffers visions of the crime. Spirits communicate with the suspects. Cinnamon and Burro search for answers and the illusive Momma makes a phone call from the past.

My namesake, Eiffel Tower Lowe, "burned herself up" in the pink room -- or that's what Daddy told me. The pink room was right down the hall from my childhood bedroom, and there was a fireplace at the end of the bed. Did she burn herself up right there? The gruesome mystery of Tower Lowe haunted me all my life, so I brought her back to life for my quirky mystery stories.

The the mystery thriller series starts with the unexplained beating death of a middle school boy in Dulce, New Mexico (In Dulce, Disturbed). The investigators travel around the state, meeting quirky characters and solving crimes using Burro's hallucinations to provide clues. Cinnamon pursues her long lost "Momma," who abandoned her at the tender age of 6. In every story she finds another clue to Momma, and Cinnaman is determined to find her. At the end of 10 stories, 10 crimes are solved and Cinnamon knows what happened to Momma.

A dead teacher on the front porch of a Zuni, New Mexico home sends Cinnamon on the trail to solve the second mystery, In Zuni, Zymotic. Quirky characters, including an Aunt and a girlfriend provide clues to the crime and to the whereabouts of Cinnamon's elusive Momma. The exotic location includes a controversy over Zuni kachinas (spirit beings), part of a home-grown New Mexico mystery. Follow the trail to Momma and the killer in #2 of the mystery thriller series.

Salacious, silly, sad, and sanguine, In Santa Fe, Salacious, #3 in the mystery thriller series, takes Cinnamon and Burro into the underside of Santa Fe, the city different. A man dies of a blow to the head in St. Francis Cathedral and a cast of sexually confused characters vie for the role of lead suspect. Who killed the hairdresser Marco as he prayed quietly in a chapel in downtown Santa Fe?

In Roswell, Re-abducted explores the fate of a young mentally ill man who grabs a stun gun from a cop to kill an alien. Burro's visions provide confusing clues that eventually solve the crime and bring Momma heart-breakingly close.

In Carlsbad, Cavernous, finds Cinnamon and Burro in the middle of a crime based on bitter resentments simmering for years in the Carlsbad heat. Visions, the usual cast of quirky characters, and Burro's hallucinations follow many twists and turns in the fourth installment of the New Mexico mystery thriller series.
