Although the book provides some helpful information/pictures on origins of the types of materials and processes used to make the artifacts, there is little organization of information, too much irrelevant information and the writing is difficult to plow through. I have an extensive collection of artifacts collected by my father during his travels to many back country lakes in Maine, and I am hoping to learn more about some of the tools and arrowheads. This book was not very helpful.
