4.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait for more.... March 19, 2012
By N. Hall
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
All I can say is WOW! This self published first book by Greyson, was a wonderful unexpected suprise. Forget the typical anxious separation, does he/she like me etc. this book jumps right in with two adult characters who are both intelligent and emotionally stable. These characters are immediately in love, no drawn out paint by numbers love story. What you get with this story is exactly that: a story about family, intrigue, commitment and oh ya, werewolves! Greyson paints a wonderful story with characters colors from grey to magenta and gave those characters a depth that makes you want to know more about them. I never felt like the supporting cast of characters were an afterthought. She was able to describe the scenery in a way that it was easy to lose myself in the story, just like being there. Lastly, and most importantly was the terrific way the author was able to describe the telepathic and other special abilities that each wolf has in a way that was easy to understand, without being cheesy or overplayed. I am sincerely looking forward to the next book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Meeehhh, could be better. January 28, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Some of this story is good, it seems like it could really lead somewhere, but parts of it are so annoying. The main characters reactions are so ridiculous sometimes that I have a hard time getting into the book. I mean come on, someone turns into a wolf and you think that's cool but you pass out when they tell you that they are like 150 years old? Give me a break. And the part about her being surprised that they have table manners made me reconsider finishing this book. I'm going to try and tough it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome March 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For someones very first publication this was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise! I never write reviews but this book totally deserved my time to post one and encourage others to read it. While it is a supernatural theme its focus was on the relationships of the main characters which was amazing! Just take the plunge and read it and form your own opinions but i am for sure going to read more from this author!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read April 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is not my usual genre, but I found myself captivated from the beginning.

Strong and interesting storyline...smooth flowing and fast paced.
The characters are well described and well liked...especially the h/H.

The storyline and all the secondary characters were strong enough to make a sequel something to look forward to.

An enjoyable read for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story some things u will recognize January 21, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
When I first started reading it I was annoyed JR Ward Brotherhood book just werewolves instead of vampires...even some Twilight book moments. Then I realized I loved both those series and the author did infuse enough originality to make it great like them but New enough for you to say may be another great series to follow. I enjoyed it read it through without putting it down. It's a bummer when u find a series then it's over bc it has to end but you read randomly around trying to find another that is good...thanks think this one may be it for me if the author can keep with their initial momentum. If u liked the Twilight series, the Brotherhood series, or Kerrilyn Sparks u will enjoy this one in a werewolf way.

If I had paid for this I would be very pissed. The story is weak, the characters are just silly.

3.0 out of 5 stars This Werewolf book was a decent read. September 8, 2013
By jcat
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
For a first book, it showed commendable promise, and I was interested enough to read it quickly.

There were wrong words here and there, and a strategic comma now and then would have made the reading flow easier. The dialogue was sometime corny or stilted (and I got rather weary of everyone 'giggling'--they're supposed to be adults, after all). The romance happened a little too fast and easy for my taste; even with the 'Mate' premise, there could have been more suspense.

I did like the action at the end, the spicy love scenes, and the relationship between all of the characters. The ending was good, and I can easily imagine more books that will perhaps highlight some of the interesting 'brothers' that we've met in this first book. The author's writing style was OK, it just needs a little dialogue refinement and a little deeper plot to distinguish it from the many other series that are out there in this genre.

If you like Werewolf romance, you'll probably enjoy this book. Would I read a sequel? Probably.
