I purchased a couple of downloads by this singer/writer based on comments by the main character in a novel ... the "hero" of the novel was a big music fan, the music described in the novel was real.

I find Keren Ann's voice haunting in the most postive sense of the word and some of her songs very engaging. After buying one download, I bought several others. I'd encourage listening to a few of the on-line samples to gain a better perspetive of my comments and to assess your own tastes for this talented woman as well.
