The appropriately titled In10sity is the 10th release by melodic rock masters Pink Cream 69. It's also the 5th in a succession of near perfect melodic hard rock albums. Ever since 1998's Electrified, PC69 has been consistently delivering the kind of powerful albums that most bands are lucky to record once (if ever) in their careers.

In10sity stays pretty close to the formula perfected on the band's other recent releases. You have tons of monster guitar hooks, fist-pumping rock anthems, and the deadly one-two punch of David Readman's (pardon the pun) electrifying vocal performance and Dennis Ward's masterful songwriting/mixing/producing/ and of course musicianship. Readman is fast becoming my favorite vocalist (watch out, DC Cooper!) and that has a lot to do with the influence of Dennis Ward's songwriting and production. It's not a coincidence that all of the best melodic rock albums in recent memory have his name associated with them at some level.

Pink Cream 69 may not have taken many chances with their 10th album, but when you've reached this level of perfection, maybe you don't need to. This is another stunning melodic hard rock album by one of the genre's absolute best bands. There are a lot of great melodic rock and metal acts out there. Pretty Maids, TNT, Last Tribe, and Jorn all come to mind, but Pink Cream 69 really is in a league all their own.

NOTE: Naturally there is an expensive Japanese import version of In10sity that has an exclusive bonus track. I realize they have to throw those extras at the Japanese market to reward their unflinching loyalty to this kind of music, but it's still frustrating. I think a "b-side" compilation collecting all of the various PC69 bonus tracks is in order so that the loyal PC69 fans can finally hear what we've been missing.

This CD hits you like drinking 1/2 pot of coffee. If you're into melodic hard rock/metal, this is all you need. No fillers. Now if only they'd tour locally, I'd be there . . .

Musically PC69 ROCKS!! Unfortunately they felt the need to get political on this album. The music & production are first rate but it is way too political for this genre of rock. Just my opinion but I'd much rather rock out to songs about girls, whiskey & fast cars than hear more sobbing about war & politics. Call me shallow but if I want to listen to political rants I'll pull out some U2 or Springsteen.
As I said, musically PC69 has hit another homer but the lyrics on a lot of the songs are a bummer.

5 stars do not do Justice to this one! This is my first encounter with PC 69,but it will not be my last. After hearing this I have to backtrack and pick up their other material. If it is anywhere near this one,I will not be disappointed. It is a shame that none of todays best melodic rock acts (Gotthard,Harem Scarem,TNT,Jaded Heart,and House of Lords) get any mention in the states,as we have lost what music should be. Oh well,enjoy it if you can find it! Give these guys a chance!

All I can say is that this cd is killer!, if you enjoy Metal/Rock from the 80's with todays production technology, good writing, great playing and of course excellent singing, then you have to get this cd. Pink Cream 69 is one of the best bands I heard in years next to "Silent Force"
for this type of music. Dennis Ward is the producer and bassist, but he also writes alot of the music, and he does a find job, there's not one bad cut on this cd. I highly Recommend it.

Not sure why so many folks have given this a 5-star rating. Sure it's melodic, but it did not blow me away.
