Our 3yo son is a plane lover already, helped by the fact that his daddy, pop pop and uncle all like planes and are helping him to learn the different names and for what they were used. These little sets have helped to continue his interest in a fun way. Some of the propellers have come off due to normal 3yo play, so they probably wouldn't be great for kids much younger.

Very realistics airplanes, my son is an avid airplane collector and he absolutly loved them. Package came before the "scheduled" date and in perfect condition. Airplanes are packaged well in a single box, not in the plastic clamshell from the stores (I stronglly dislike the clamshell packaging, can never get it opened). Planes are sturdy, they have withstood being played by a 10 yr old boy.

I bought these for my co-worker and they loved it. The toys are pretty high quality, made with metal and some plastic parts.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. He has been asking me for war planes for a long time. You would think this would not be hard to find, but it was. I'm so happy I found them on amazon. They were just as I expected them to be. Shipping was fast. Thanks again.

These are good planes but the size is not great if you want to find out the size it`s at www.mightytoy.com and its good i will recommend it to a friend

I purchased this set of WWII planes for my 8 year old grandson who has been requesting WWII planes for almost a year now. The planes are die cast metal with good detail are large enough to play with and appear to be well enough built to last for quite a while even in the hands of an 8 year old. I had been looking for such an item for a long time and about all I could find in stores were plastic models. The set even comes with a paper describing each plane.

My grandson was very excited when he received the gift and so was I for being able to find it because I had been looking for the better part of a year for such an item in the local stores. This is a set that I believe will survive the normal ware and tear of being loved and will become a collectable.

Some of the toys made today are just throw aways' and made very poorly, when i ordered these i had low expectations, but when they arrived i was very pleasantly surprised.

My 8 year-old son is thrilled with this collection. These tough models are surprisingly well detailed and some are similar enough in quality to his big brother's collection to make them pass for "collectibles" to be proud of. A nice present; the planes are individually wrapped in an amusing an anonymous cube-shaped box that is fun to open and discover the surprise inside.

I bought this set with another 6 pc set. Both are great small planes, great for small hands. I bought these for my 3 year old son.

My five year old grandson became interested in airplanes -wanting to know about all kinds. There was a very limited supply at toy and dept stores. He loves the set I ordered from Amazon. They're sturdy and detailed - glad I purchased them. They went over very well on Christmas!
