5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product!
My new car has an AUX input jack so I bought this cable to use my mp3 player (Creative Muvo) with the speakers. It works seamlessly and excellently. Shipping was fast and I'm very happy with the product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but 1 issue
The sound quality is great. Its a well constructed cable. However, the head of the cable is too fat. I have to take my iphone case off in order for the cable to make a connection.

I purchased these cables to connect my iPhone to my Car speakers using Aux. Input and I am really pleased with the build and quality of these cables. Definitely worth spending few more bucks than buying any ordinary cable.

I looked around at a few cheapy cables and ended up getting this cable. I'm glad I did. It's really good quality and use it in my Escape through the AUX input with a few year old iPod Nano. The length is just right and I can let it lay in my seat or it is long enough for others to hold and use if necessary. Only had a short time but the sound is much better than my normal radio using this cable and iPod.

This cable works just great. I use it in my car to hook up my MP3 player to my car stereo system. Sound reproduction is as good, if not better, than headphones. So, the cable is definitely sending enough signal in sufficient detail and strength from my MP3 player to the MP3 socket in my R32's glove box.

I have two slight gripes. First, the cable is quite thick and makes it difficult to close the glove box door. Consequently, the door surround pinches the cable which I hope won't break it over time. Second, the free shipping from InCarCables is great, but you get what you pay for. Flimsy packaging. My cable arrived in a thin plastic envelope. It was absolutely fine, but could so easily have been damaged in transit. Personally, I'd have been happy to pay a few extra bucks for a padded envelope or a small cardboard box for the packaging.

Overall, don't be fooled into buying massively expensive cables thinking that's the only way you're going to get quality sound. This cable works just great. You'll see! Or rather hear!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality cable, vendor seems to respect and value customers, April 18, 2010

This particular wire turned out to be exactly what I needed to connect my SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 2 GB MP3 Player (Black) to the car stereo through the AUX port.

It's got the following going for it:

- Right size - 4 ft. seems to be the ideal size with the MP3 player placed under the dashboard.
- Good sound quality.
- Not-too-cheap looking connectors. And the grey-black style happens to match my car's interior.
- Price is not too bad. Not exactly cheap for what I got but, given free shipping, it's tolerable.
- There seems to be some customer support from vendor. InCarCables included a postcard with the shipment, offering to replace defective cables and even to ship the right cable upon emailing them if they sent you the wrong one by mistake.

Overall, it's the best value on this length/quality I found at Amazon at the time I ordered. I was inclined to award it 4 star because the price is a little high but, given the nice customer support commitment, I'm upgrading my rating to a 5-star. We should always encourage vendors that value their customers and promise to stand behind their product.

I purchased this cable not too long ago, and it has worked great!!! The size is perfect for a car AUX-IN, and the audio quality is superb. I'm a musician, so believe me when I say I'm extremely picky with my audio products, even the ones that are for self entertainment, but this cable has been able to live up to my standards. Shipping was fast, product arrived in great condition, and music sounds clear, clean, crisp and with absolutely zero dreadful static. Hope this helps.

Cheers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought two - Don't actually use one in my car..., July 25, 2011

I bought this cable because the cables that come with MP3/iPod compatible bookshelf stereos are kinda crappy. After getting abysmal audio out of the stock cable that came with my Sony clock radio, I bought the 1.6 foot cable so I could hook my Android phone up and listen to my music.

The sound quality was remarkably better than with the cable Sony provided. I am very pleased with this product. The cable is sturdy and the connections well made. The 1.6 foot length is also perfect since my phone rests on the nightstand beside the radio. For a car audio solution, I bought the longer 4 foot version so that I could place the phone safely in a dashboard cubby hole.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect cord sent (Replaced & more), November 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: InCarCables Car + Home Stereo AUX-IN Auxiliary Input Lead Cable 3.5mm for iPod, iPhone, smartphone and mp3 players (4ft/1.2m) (Electronics)
I ordered this 4ft cord for my car stereo because it appears to be the only one with good reviews on amazon that didn't seem like it would fall apart on me. It came in the mail only to find out that they sent the incorrect cord. Instead of the 4ft cord they sent me a 1.5ft cord. I contacted them by email and got a reply the next day telling me that they would send me a new one of the correct cords if i gave them my order number. I replied and got an email back in 4 minutes telling me they would send me 2 new 4ft cords! I didn't have to ship the old one back, So i ordered this cord and i got 3 overall because of a mistake. The cord itself is great, Haven't had a problem yet with it. Although the end is a little larger then other cords so if you have a case on your Ipod you might have to figure a way around it.

Very recommended, Great customer support.
