This review is from: InFocus IN1501 Mobile Short-Throw DLP Projector, 4 lbs, XGA, 3000 Lumens (Office Product)
Excellent for small meeting room or office applications. Throws a big picture from just a few feet away from the screen. This met all my expectation. Would have been 5 stars if there was a wireless link.

This review is from: InFocus IN1501 Mobile Short-Throw DLP Projector, 4 lbs, XGA, 3000 Lumens (Office Product)
First thing out of the box, the only cords I saw were two different kind of European cords. Eventually noticed a third US cord and hooked it up.
The projector comes with Display Link. I connected two different laptops with the projector and both tried to download the software from the projector and then said that it would not work with the current operating system which is Windows 7. Called InFocus. The guy said to download new software. Curiously, he said their site was not working properly and sent me to a Toshiba web site to download the software. After all this, I got the software to work with one computer but on my other computer the PDF program would not work with the Display Link software. The good thing is that both computers work fine with the projector using HDMI. The very brief manual says that the Display Link is better quality, but they looked about the same to me. As another reviewer has noted, the adjustment of the projected size is almost nothing. You must be close to the screen and sit the projector in a very limited area. Even though my projector arrived in December 2010, it showed a manufacturing date that was 15 months old. This is an old model and not worth getting. ------------ This addition is written two and a half months later. When I bought this projector, I was told there were be a rebate for a free extra bulb. I filled out the rebate form and mailed it in on December 21. Today, March 11, I called In Focus to find out why I had no bulb. They gave me a number. I called the number and was told that due to overwhelming customer response they had run out of bulbs and I would not get my bulb until May 15. I am a skeptic. If I had not called, would I ever get a bulb. The bulb in these projectors are usually pretty standard. Does the response they gave me make sense? If there were an option, I would lower the rating for this projector to one star.
