Excellent bang for your buck,

There is one major thing that you need to do if you buy this product and that is upgrade to the latest firmware on the infocus website. The firmware that comes with it isn't nearly as good as the one they just released. Overall, for the money you can't go wrong with this projector. It has a decent resolution for a projector in the price range, and the 2200 lumens are more than enough. I keep mine on low power mode all the time and it still runs at 1700 lumens. There is nothing like watching movies on a 120' flat screen! I guess if there was a problem with this product it would be the noise. On low power mode it isn't really noticeable, but on high power, unless you have a movie with sound going, you are going to notice it. I personally love how much they have come down in price. This just last year would have cost me over 1200 dollars easy and now they're finally affordable. I recommend this product.

This is a great little projector. We are a small business and our main use is training. Excellent picture quality, even with the smallest of detail. I would recommend this product.

Bulb burned out at third use,

Not a happy camper. I tested the projector by running it for about an hour shortly after I bought it. In preparation for a meeting where I would be using it, I ran it the day prior for a few minutes and reviewed the instruction manual. Everything seemed fine. Then this morning, when I set it up at the meeting I was presenting at, the bulb burned out. I followed the manual to turn off projector and wait a minute--did that two times--still no bulb. I returned it and exchanged it for a Toshiba.

This is a good product
I bought this one because I had a good perception of Infocus It is a little big, but it is what I pay for. Smaller projectors are a lot more expensive. This is very practically and what I really like it that this projector supports my Widescreen Laptop resolution, so I can work in the same aspect ratio in the laptop screen and the projection. BAD: The RCA video input gives more quality video than the SVideo input, when you use a DVD player for video source. Also it doesn't have a blank screen or freeze function, this is bad because some time you need to pause a presentation and do a little fast work in your laptop but you don't want show what are you doing to everyone.

I purchased this projector to upgrade from the previous InFocus X2 model. The projector is great, but the remote is very basic. They removed the volume controls from remote and has no laser pointer. They are esentially getting you to buy their upgraded remote. I do a lot of presentations with video and need the ability to control volume.

Excellent contrast ratio and color. I'm able to view this with a moderate amount of light turned on in the room. Picture quality doesn't seem to be as sharp as my previous projector but it is adequate.

I've used this projector in my classroom for over a year now. At first it was on a table, but I now have it mounted on the ceiling. I turn it on and off many times each day, and it never fails me. Nice, bright, crisp clear image. I recommend it highly.

I bought this about a year and a half ago and it's given me solid service.
I have it in my living room where I shine it on a 130" diagonal screen. I switch it between my laptop, DVD player, and Nintendo Wii and it projects all of them flawlessly. I don't even have to unplug it - it automatically looks for an incoming video signal and adjust itself accordingly. All I have to do is turn it on and pull down the screen. One of the easiest to use projectors I've experienced. The resolution (1024 x 800) is better than most projectors and the picture is bright and strong. A bit tough to see in daylight, though. It has internal speakers that work adequately, but they're tinny and not very loud. I recommend getting a set of amplified speakers for an extra $100 or so. The only complaint that some people may have is it's size. It's rather thick and bulky and not easily transportable, nor is it designed to be. But the extra size helps in cooling the bulb and makes it last longer. It also comes with a remote control, which some may find handy but I've never used.
