Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Essential Features and Performance. For presenters seeking an entry-level digital projector the InFocus IN2104 provides essential features and performance at an affordable price-point. InFocus IN2104 DLP(R) projector with BrilliantColor(TM) technology eliminates the trade-off between color fidelity and performance. The IN2104 combines a 5-segment color wheel with 2500 lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. Advanced connectivity options include multiple computer and audio inputs and a wireless-ready port for easy upgrades to InFocus LiteShow II; making it easy to switch between presenters. An RS-232 port enables integration with meeting room control systems.

Technology
The InFocus IN2104 is made for heavy-use with moderate-high resolution source. Featuring XGA-native resolution of 1024x768, this model is ideal for users who typically connect to 4:3 laptop and desktop computer sources, document cameras and digital scopes to create collaborative work environments. The IN2104 will perform at a higher level than the IN2102 because every pixel on-screen is reflected from an individual mirror in the chipset, providing a larger, clearer projected image. The InFocus IN2104 DLP® projector with BrilliantColor™ technology and 5-segment color wheel displays realistic colors and brighter images that last.

Performance
Powered by 2500 lumens, the IN2104 projects bright images in high ambient light environments. The 2000:1 contrast ratio preserves detail in dark images. The lamp lasts up to 3000 hours and when necessary can be quickly changed without removing an installed projector from the ceiling.

Connectivity & Control
Advanced connectivity choices include multiple computer and audio inputs — so it's easy to switch between presenters; a wireless-ready port for an easy upgrade to the InFocus LiteShow™ II, for a less expensive ceiling mounted installation; RS232 port for integration with industry-standard meeting room control systems.

Reliability & Security
The IN2104 is a dust-free system. There are no fan filters or lamp screens to change. This makes for 24x7 certified operation, providing around the clock, hassle free projection. Kensington lock and PIN code feature will keep the projector in the proper location and under authorized use.

InFocus IN2104 features:
  • XGA 1024 x 768 Native Resolution
  • 2500 ANSI Lumens (2300 lm Eco Mode)
  • 2000:1 Contrast Ratio
  • 5 year parts, 2 year labor, 6 month lamp limited warranty

5.0 out of 5 stars Great classroom/meeting projector!, May 13, 2009
This review is from: InFocus Work Big IN2104 Projector (Office Product)
Has what we needed for a classroom/meeting room projector, but nothing unneeded, at a very reasonable price. Excellent image quality, runs relatively quiet and cool. The protective power on/off management won't let you do dumb things --took a little getting used to.

This review is from: InFocus Work Big IN2104 Projector (Office Product)
Bought this back in fall 2008 and it's still going strong and I love this projector (not noisy, bright enough, good contrast and resolution); but, my problem is that I'm constantly having to setup laptops for 1024 x 768 resolution and set the refresh rate to 75Hz (in order to get the projector to work)--or 800 x 600 at 60Hz works too (for some laptops that don't allow for 75Hz refresh rate). Tried setting the projector's screen size to "auto" and "native" and "4:3", but to no avail. There are laptops that are plug-n-play; i.e. you would never know this was an issue, but this is for a lecture room and the volume and variety of laptops makes this issue prevalent.
