Excellent Value,

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the picture from this projector. Being on the low-end price-wise I didn't expect the high-quality picture that it projected. I bought it for my 15-year old daughter to have movie parties with. It is also very simple to operate. The only downfall is that it only came with a cable to connect to a PC, but not a cable to connect to a DVD player (S-video to RCA) I had to order that separately since the stores (Radio Shack & Circuit City) do not carry it in stock.

Clearer and cheaper than my Epson,

I bought an Epson Powerlite S3 three years ago and used it for DVDs, cable and to play my Wii. With a $1,000 budget, I bought the projector, a stereo surround system, a can of low gloss white paint and some black trim and built a home theater that will rival one that would cost 25-30K (if you bought a comparable-sized plasma TV). I loved it. The quality was somewhere between watching a movie in a theater and watching one on a plasma tv. The image projected about 108 inches and was a wonderful, cheap home theater system.
But my epson died after three years. So I bought this cheaper brand. And it is MUCH better. Maybe all projectors have gotten better in the last three years, but this version is much better than what I paid nearly twice as much to get back then.

Projects well.. light weight, easy to carry and set up. Instructs over simplified. Troubleshooting tips lacking. I hit pause and was unable to get a picture back. It appears that the only way to get the picture back is to unplug and s tart all over.

I bought this projector about a month ago, and I'm very happy with it.
Great image quality, low power consumption, easy to use and the remote control has all the options I want. Even when I use this projector in a blank wall the image looks great, with high contrast and sharp edges, without distortion and the colors seems close to my monitor's colors. The only disadvantage I found is heating, but I supposed that's normal on projectors, so I recommend to use it over a surface that resists heating. Besides of that, it's an amazing projector. Absolutely recommended.

Great projector. Plenty of light to do a powerpoint presentation even in a lighted room. Only two little things kept me from rating this as a 5-star: there are no controls on the projector other than the On/Off button, so don't misplace the remote control; it would be fantastic if it had a stick-drive port so that I wouldn't have to take a bulky computer with me to my presentations.

I got a good deal on the projector. I registering for warranty I found the the projector has not been sold by InFocus for a couple of years. I had to call technical assistance to register for the 2 year warranty. You need to go to the supplied disc and use the technical assistance guide to set up for your computer. After reviewing the technical assistance the sysem worked fine with a clear pictur. For the price I would recommend it.

The projector is simple and easy to use. Cons: No HDMI connection. Other then that it does the job for watching movies, giving presentations and just projecting whatever. God Bless!

This product is excellent quality for the price. We use it for movies & the quality is great! The only downfall I've noticed is that after about 4 hours of being on, there is a delay in the scene of the movie to the sound. We noticed the characters mouths were moving but the sounds was about a second behind. That was into the 3rd movie in a row though. It needs some time to cool down if you're using it for 3 movies in a row. There is one more thing too...there is not many component hook-up's on the projector. If you have several things to hook up to it, you may have problems getting them all hooked up at the same time. This projector was at least $200 less than every other one we had looked at the time. So for the price I am very happy with it!

I am using this primarily for business. It came quickly and works pretty well. Good value for the money.
No real manual with the unit, so you have to figure things out yourself. Clarity is nice. I want to try it with a DVD for a home movie. So far, I haven't figured out how to switch from a PowerPoint to video on the fly. Display doesn't work the same for both, so that's a little incovenient in the middle of a multimedia display.

I just purchased this projector recently, and it's fabulous to watch movies on. Looks just like I'm watching it on my laptop - crisp, clear, colors are perfect. I just plug in my macbook pro and can project onto any wall/ceiling/white sheet. The only thing that surprised me was that when projecting onto the ceiling (typical 10' ceiling) the image wasn't HUGE, it was more like between 3 and 4' wide by 2 or 3' tall. The picture was sharp, colors looked great, it's super bright. Oh, another cool thing is that you can fix the keystoning, so, if you want to project it over your head, but don't want to be laying right next to it, you can project it onto the ceiling from your feet, then fix the skew so it looks like a regular rectangle. Definitely worth it, and it's really easy to operate, and it's lightweight. Now my roommates have ideas of writing haiku's and driving around projecting them on various buildings downtown! ;)
