4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Stoller- great value
I love these reviewers that suggest the stroller have a swivel wheel. If you want a stroller with a swivel wheel, buy one with a swivel wheel!! The front wheel is fixed so that the stroller will track easily while jogging/walking. It is simple to "pop a wheelie" and turn in any direction. I was so impressed with this product for the price- it has tons of great storage,...

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for the money
After a long hiatus from jogging, I bought this stroller to get back into shape. It's an acceptable stroller for entry-level joggers but I'd spend the money and get something nicer if you run more than 10 miles a week. It's also a good purchase if you're not sure you'll like it. I have to warn though, if you have long legs, you might have to alter your running style...

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Stoller- great value, December 1, 2006
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I was so impressed with this product for the price- it has tons of great storage, and the bottom basket removes easily for those of us who don't need THAT much capacity- my daughter loves it, so far the only stroller she'll tolerate. The canopy is huge for us, as we live in the tropics. The hand position and clearance are great. I find it easy to fold and throw in my car. I have a station wagon, but I really was surprised at how easily this stroller stows. It's a great deal for a geat jogging stoller. If you want a swivel wheel, buy a different stroller. Period.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for the money, September 11, 2006
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
After a long hiatus from jogging, I bought this stroller to get back into shape. It's an acceptable stroller for entry-level joggers but I'd spend the money and get something nicer if you run more than 10 miles a week. It's also a good purchase if you're not sure you'll like it. I have to warn though, if you have long legs, you might have to alter your running style. I've noticed that I often run to the side of the stroller because my legs are so long that I kick the basket underneath if I don't pay attention.
My major complaint is that the brake on the stroller hasn't worked from the moment I took it out of the box and I followed the instructions on putting it together and hooking it up. I can't say if I'd use it even if it were working, but the fact that it's been broken since day 1 irritates me. Another issue I have is that it's very bulky. I have trouble getting it in and out of my trunk so if you've got a compact car, this is definitely not the stroller for you.
I do like that it's easy to run with(after some getting used to)and nice looking. I always pass people with the $300 strollers and can honestly say that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I also like that it must be comfortable to ride in because my daughter always naps while I run.
Like I said earlier, good for the money but if you're a serious runner, I'd spend the extra $50-$100 and get something a step or two better.

4.0 out of 5 stars great stroller good price only 1 complaint, April 29, 2006
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I love all the pockets and the parent console. My only complaint about this stroller is that I wished the front wheel swiveled. So far I have only used this on sidewalks and it is not a big deal but the swivel wheel would make turning easier. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a swivel wheel in the front.

My daughter really likes this stroller. We have tried 4 different ones and this one is by far the best. She is well protected from the sun with the large canopy. She sits in it very comfortably and actually stayed awake and looked around. I think that she likes that it sits up higher than her other strollers. She gets a better view of the surroundings. Definately worth the money. I would spend a little more though to get a swivel wheel in the front.

I am also ordering the bug shield and a rain guard for this stroller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller for Great Price, July 9, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I am an avid runner (4 10k's/week) and I bought this stroller to keep at my Mom's place for when I visit. It is lighter than other ones I've tried, has GREAT storage, good looking, a very sturdy feel to it, yet is maneuverable. Also, the seatback reclines enough to where my son is comfortable napping. I am very happy with this purchase!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stroller, but terrible restraint system, June 23, 2007
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
This stroller makes for a nice and smooth, ergonomic ride. My son and I love going for quick runs in the countryside. But the shoulder restraints are more-or-less useless-- it's nothing better than a lap belt that allows the child to slip his/her arms out and lean forward as far as s/he wants. Even as a lap belt it is inconvenient, because you must thread the belt through narrow slips for the shoulder straps and then through a thick blue sleeve at the child's crotch-- which bunches up sometimes. Something better is needed here, maybe a system more like common child carseat restraints.

The tires, suspension/shocks, grips, etc are all of excellent quality, it is easy to assemble, and the child will barely feel rocks and potholes at speed. The fixed wheel and long wheelbase makes for great jogging on longer, straighter journeys. Of course, if you plan on doing lots weaving through crowded city streets, you probably aren't looking at this stroller anyway.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome jogging stroller for the price, April 12, 2006
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I just bought this yesterday., and I love it!! The only thing I would change on it is the front tire, it should swivel and it doesn't. Besides that my little guy loved riding in it, he fell asleep so he must have been comfortable. A good value for the price. Lots of handy storage pockets, basket underneath, bag on the back of the seat. Parent console is awesome.

3.0 out of 5 stars Real Pain to Set Up, but It Works, November 3, 2006
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
We bought this so we could take our daughter out while exercising, and it does suffice for such. It's got plenty of pockets and storage areas, all of which are fairly secure in nature. When in use, it is stable (once you learn how to turn) and safe.

However ... the front wheel took a number of "adjustments" in order to get it set so that the stroller didn't drift to one side or the other. The rear ("parking") brake works great, but the front wheel "squeeze" brake was almost impossible to set up properly. No matter how we tried, the front brake would either be clamped too tightly (i.e. permanently "on") or be unable to close on the wheel (i.e. useless). After 3 or 4 hours of frustrating tinkering, we got the brake into a passable location, so that it now does not obstruct the wheel when not being applied; but it also does not "fully" apply when the brake lever is squeezed (although it does apply minimal pressure on the wheel).

Thankfully, we don't live in a traffic-laden area where the brake might be a real safety issue.

If you do buy this, you might do what we considered doing - take the thing into a bike store to get it set up properly. They have plenty of experience with this brake type. Of course, they'll charge you to fix it ...

4.0 out of 5 stars good value and durable! Break is hard to setup!, November 12, 2008
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I purchased this stroller around $95 with free shipping. For that price, it is pretty good quality.

I have 2 complains about this product
1) This jogging stroller is kinda big to fit in Small SUV's trunk.

2) Break is hard to set up. I spend couple hours setting up the break, but couldn't make it to work. So I took it to bike shop and they set it up nicely for $15.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Great deal...best $ I ever spent, June 8, 2008
This review is from: InStep Run Around LTD Jogging Stroller (Blue/Black) (Baby Product)
I am so glad that I bought this jogging stroller. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I was afraid that I would never use it being so busy with the baby. However, I used this stroller almost every day since day 1. I like that the front wheel is stationary because I run on sidewalks. I need to slow down of course to make turns. The ride seems to be comfortable for the baby because he almost always falls asleep and stays asleep in the stroller even after we've gotten in the house.
This is the most useful piece of baby-related gear that I have bought.
