No, the wheel doesn't swivel. for this price range, you don't want it to. If you have the money for a BOB, get one. If you want an inexpensive, quality stroller to jog with your 12 month or older child, this is it. I am completely satisfied and continue to use it once or twice per week.

So far, so good with this stroller. Its sturdy, folds nicely and goes well over different terrains.

I got this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! He really likes the big wheels and says it's perfect for him. I, however, don't like that the front wheel is fixed. It's very hard for me to maneuver it. I didn't know the wheel was fixed when I purchased it so please make sure you know that before you buy a jogging stroller!

We wanted a jogging stroller so that, when walking in the park, our son didn't jiggle out his little teeth. (Our current stroller had the "normal" stroller wheels, which made for a VERY bumpy ride.)

The InStep stroller works like a charm. Heck, half the time I don't even have to push! It just rolls along under its own steam. The ride is very smooth, and the stationary wheel is actually nice - keeps our son from kareening down into the bayou. (We live in Houston - lots of bayous to walk around/near in parks.)

Our son is just about 1 yr old, and this stroller (size wise) should last till he's at least 3 1/2. LOTS of growing room.

I recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a good "walking/jogging" stroller. Not really room for a full sized diaper bag - so keep in mind this would probably be a secondary stroller. BUT, I love being able to keep one stroller in the car, and one in the garage.

Bad purchase! I jogged for a 1/4 mile with it and turned around and went home to look into returning it. Mine does not stay completely locked into position while it's open. It is off balance and wobbles terribly. My husband adjusted the front wheel several times and it finally alligned straight, but you cannot ajust the back wheels. Both the front wheel and back right wheel started to buldge durning my short run. There is about 10 inches worth of storage space behind the seat. It was big enough for me to only put my dog's leash in it. I would definitely invest in a better brand if you are really planning on jogging with a stroller. Walking and park trips with this stroller would probably be fine, but I do not reccomend it to actually jog with. On the plus side, I do like the colors! They are not as bright as I was expecting.

My son and I had done so much roadwork in his first year that we "killed" his standard stroller. I took a chance on this stroller, mostly because it was so inexpensive, and I've been ecstatic with its performance. The inflatable bicycle type tires give my son a much smoother ride, and the handle grips are soft and comfortable. I love that there are safety features like the wrist strap and hand brake (similar to that on a ten-speed bike)as well as such sturdy wheel stops. Be aware that it doesn't fold as compactly as your standard travel system (due to the front wheel's size and inability to rotate parallel to the stroller's frame), but it still fits in the trunk of my Versa, so you won't need an SUV or luggage rack to get around with it. Jogging strollers have larger overall footprints than standard strollers, but this one is not substantially wider, so we have no trouble negotiating doorways so far. We use this for shopping and errands, too. We're happy. Hope you will be, too.

The suspension and brake make this seem nice for parents, but look closely at the seat. There is no padding on the seat, seatback, or shoulder straps. After buying this, and opening the box, I had no intentions of making our precious child ride in that.

I looked around, found the Instep Safari for $10-20 more that has great padded seat, seatback, and shoulder straps, as well as child tray, swivel/fixed wheel options, and looks a lot nicer overall.

I wanted to have a stroller for walking and running, this has been great. My daughter likes it too. She enjoys being able to look at where we are going instead of the baby carrier kind where she stares at me the whole time. This also allows me to have a longer workout time since she is happy. I the only think is that the brake doesn't catch so much, but it has a safety wrist leash, so it is still safe. Hope this helps.

The stroller is a great buy, it is sturdy, easy to strap the baby in and seeming very comfortable for him- he falls asleep in it every day during our walk!

This is a great stroller. It is especially good for walking on rough surfaces where you could never take a traditional stroller with small wheels. It went together nicely and easily and seems to be very well made
