And there's still 90% of the bottle remaining!

Eventually I ended up going into the drain pipes myself to get rid of one of their breeding grounds, then got a plumber to take care of the rest.

I thought they were fruit flies, and could not get rid of them, until I read an article, that they were coming from the drain - yuck!!

After one treatment (4 oz down the drain), our fly problem was almost gone. After a couple treatments, no more flies. And there's still 90% of the bottle remaining! We had flies in the kitchen for several weeks. Before I bought this, we tried everything: kept things super-clean. Made traps out of paper funnels and soda bottles, bought a couple of commercial trap products. This is the only thing that worked.

Had a serious problem with drain flies in one of our bathrooms. I researched on the internet how to determine where the flies were coming from and how to get rid of them. I did everyone of the remedies suggested and still the little pests persisted. I was so disgusted and frustrated- the bathroom was sparkling clean even the drains and yet I still had these nasty little flies. I called the exterminator and they told me they could try, but it would be very costly. I kept looking on the internet and came across Invade Bio Gel; I figured I try it. It took quite a few repeated applications but amazingly it worked. Because I never did figure out which drain or overflow was the problem, I put the product in all of them and let it sit for up to 6/8 hours. The product smells like oranges, which is a nice change from all the heavy chemicals I was using. We started seeing less and less flies until there were none. This is a great product and I'd buy it again and again. I also intend to tell my exterminator about it next time they're by for the annual check. Worth every penny!!!!!

This Invade Bio Gel is working, not as well as I had hoped but think my problem will be solved on a second bottle. First let me tell you. I have had a Drain Fly problem for sometime. For the longest I had no idea what they were. Once I suspected my problem was coming from the drain, I dumped all kinds of stuff down the drain Drano, bleach, ammonia, vinegar and about anything else you can think of with not improvement. Finally found out these were called Drain Fly's and found the Bio Gel as a cure. Also I did not physically clean the drain as suggest, use in all drains twice. The problem seems to be the tub/shower drain and that is where the focus has been. Before the Boi Gel I would come home and there would be 4 to 6 flying around the house. Down to a 1/4 of a bottle and now days I'm finding 2 to 3 in the tub/shower. so as i said it may take 2 bottles to resolve my problem. I'm glad I made the purchase.

UPDATE: not so glad i made the purchase. thought it worked but the drain fly's came back even worse. For weeks now i have been using baking soda, salt and vinegar. Then flushing with boiling water. You can buy this a your local dollar store much much cheaper. Ok all the above may have helped but still had the problem. Now I'm using a product called Drain Care. Can be purchase here on Amazon or at your local Lowes or home depot. In my third week of using Drain Care and later flushing with boiling water. Also keeping my drains covered when not in use. The amount and size of drain fly are reducing.

2nd Update: Ok this bio gel and all the other stuff i have poured down the drain to get ride of the drain fly's may have helped. As I mentioned in the 1st update started using a product call Drain Care.

I was out of ideas to get rid of our pesky drain flies until I found this product on Amazon. After two treatments, they were gone. After one week of treating every other day, I'm now treating once a week, and not a drain fly since the third day (it's now about two weeks since I started). Yes, it's pricier than boiling water, bleach and homemade solutions, but this WORKS.

Not sure if I had fruit or drain flies. After first use, flies were almost gone. Had the flies
in my kitchen for a few months. Kept all counters wiped, trash emptied, and fruit, onions etc to
a bare minimum. Finally I googled fruit flies and found out about drain flies. This product REALLY
WORKS. No more little annoying flies in my kitchen. I will continue to use as product outlines....
putting a bit in drain every week...or every few weeks. I don't want the pesky little flies coming
back. Very pleased with this product. THANK YOU

I had a bad problem with drain flies for some reason. I tried draino, bleach, fly traps, bug spray, baking soda, vinegar in my drains but nothing got rid of the nasty flies. They kept coming around. I ordered this stuff, gooped up my drains and within 12 hours I barely had any flies. Seems to be working very effectively.
