Book Description

Jillian Grayson is a disillusioned divorcée and best-selling romance novelist who suddenly can't write a chapter without her hunky male heartthrob suffering ED, an STD, or even worse. Brian Nash is a tennis-obsessed college senior who's unlucky in love and the roommate and best friend of Jillian's son, Rob. When Rob brings Brian home for Spring Break, and Brian meets the surprisingly young and tennis passionate Jillian, their shared interest quickly develops into an intense mutual attraction. After nearly giving in to their feelings, they hatch a plan, while under the influence (of something more than just the perfect Miami night), to be friends with partial benefits, complete with rules to define the boundaries. Will the lonely pair continue with this distinctive relationship, actually explore their desires, or discover all of it is a really bad idea?

Inappropriate Thoughts is a more explicit version of another currently available novel. For more information please see the author page.

READER ADVISORY:
This story contains content some readers may find objectionable, including explicit sex and language.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!!! November 7, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This book falls under the genre of erotica and it sure lived up to it! The passion and sex scenes where hot and steamy. The book wasn't all sex though; it had a real plot, a real story line, and real characters you could connect too. It was extremely funny and kept me up way to late because of the simple fact that I couldn't put it down. The characters were amazing and I just couldn't help but fall for Brian; he was an amazing male lead.

I loved this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Explicitly sexual and well crafted January 21, 2012
By Paul
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is raunchy and full of explicit sex. If this is all you are after you will be happy with this book. I even learned something new about sexuality and enjoyed the related fantasies. It is a nice combination of raw sex, life and romance.

This book is more than a good excuse to read about sex. It is truly good romantic and sexual erotica. The book is well written with good, in depth characters and a plot that held my interest throughout the story. The many sex scenes in the story are not fillers, they actively contribute to the progress of the story and plot.

Though it is a genre I don't normally read I found it hard to put down. Ian Dalton is a good story teller and I found emotional connection with the characters. The only disappointment was that the story ended too soon. This is a sign of a good book. Fortunately, the story continues in another book.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Ian.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Hot Hot. Love it! November 5, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I love this story. So worth the small 99 cents.

Basically its about an Author having more than a writers block who is a little more than sexually frustrated. She then meets her son's friend. I really don't want to type anymore and give the plot away.

Still the two use tennis to release some sexual tension and it works... for a while.

Anyway, I read this book as soon as i got it and couldn't put it down. The characters are so enthralling and down to earth.

This is yet another one of my new favorite Authors. I HIGHLY suggest it.

3.0 out of 5 stars the good half was awesome... April 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book was half good, but the good half was awesome.

This book is about a college student and his best friend's mother (an erotic romance writer), who fall for each other and all the sexy bits that come with it.

The first half of the book concentrated on the seduction and the set-up. All in all it was ok. There were a lot of convenient things that happened to make the whole set-up possible. They just happened to like the same things... They just happen to meet each other in a certain place... They just happen to etc... For this type of story, I would normally let it go, especially if the basic story was interesting. the problem was that the basic story had it's own issues.

A lot of the time the first part of the book couldn't seem to decide who's story to follow. Sometimes the supporting cast became the main characters for a whole chapter, for whatever reason. That, and compounded with the occasional excerpt from the fictional book that the female lead was writing, made the pacing of the book kind of weird. She would talk about her fictional characters "doing" things to each other for 4-5 long paragraphs. There was also a bunch of imaginary encounters. The characters and "supporting characters" pictured in their heads how they want to "DO" things to each other.

Even the title of this book "INAPPROPRIATE THOUGHTS" (Victoria Wilde #1) has the name Victoria Wilde in it, but she isn't even the main character. To me she was the weakest part of this book, partly because she took you away from the main story.

The second part of the book was much better. If I had only half the book, this half, I would have been completely satisfied. The characters finally stop doing the "mating dance" and start mating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Confused and curious August 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I read the Friends with Benefits series by Luke Young which appears to be the same series as Victoria Wilde by Ian Dalton. Is it fair of authors to republish books under different names withhout mentioning this and charge for them? I am just curious.

3.0 out of 5 stars Teasingly Good! March 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This book was such a tease! :)

These was so much tension built up between Jullian and Brian that it frustrated me while reading it. But I loved how their "relationship" blossomed into what it became. So the ending was romantic and sexy at the same time.

As for Victoria, I hope she gets a book all to herself. She isn't shy and really puts herself out there.

Ever wondered how a man will write a romance novel? read Ian Dalton's/Luke Young's books and you'll find out.

This author has made me laugh with the stunts he makes his characters go through. He is one funny man.

I first had the chance to read His other book, "Friends with Partial Benefits" (written as Luke Young) which he considers tame was hot enough for me. In this book, we see Victoria's version of things, well it just plain sizzles!

The book is well written, the characters are developed and the story flows fluidly. Grammar is perfect too.

Whichever book you choose to read, you get the same story of Jillian's love life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Game! Set! Snatch...Oops, that should be Match! August 12, 2012
By POIA
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Now this little adult erotic read was really rather strange in its melding of tennis and sex. I mean really, which erotic novels have you read lately with a link right in the book for basic tennis verbiage and rules? Such a strange concept and yet...it worked. The story had a believable plot, was fairly well written and the characters were likeable and well fleshed out (no pun intended). Make no mistake, this is not a simple vanilla romance...au contraire, this one is a steamy, erotic novel complete with sex and more sex, but unlike many of its ilk, it is a real story which includes sex and isn't just sex for sex's sake. Although this book is #1 in a series, it reads like a stand alone novel. Take a chance, you could do a lot worse than this one if you are of a mind to read books in this genre. A solid four stars from me.

2.0 out of 5 stars "A" story versus "B" story
Ok I admit that I laughed that's why I gave this story 2 stars. The main story was ok and I liked the older woman / younger man. However the "B" story just turned me off.

More About the Author

Ian Dalton is the Kindle-bestselling author of the Victoria Wilde novels, which feature strong, sexy female characters -- women who seize every opportunity for fun and don't let a little thing like age stand in the way of love or passion.

Dalton brings a fresh perspective on the "erotic romance" genre -- seamlessly working it to the max while poking just a little harmless fun at it along the way. His work has gained fans around the world who have proclaimed his books as "must reads," "mind blowing," and more.

One of Dalton's specialties is capturing the intense desire between an older woman and a younger man who are completely crazy about one another, but are desperately trying to squash their feelings. He brilliantly explores the passionate thoughts floating around in their heads as they pine away. The result is steamy, tender, often funny writing at its best.

However, Dalton's greatest creation is the incomparable, fan favorite Victoria Wilde. The character has emerged as a life-savoring heroine, with readers around the web asking, "What would Victoria do?" We're not always sure but we know it will be fun!

If you enjoy romance stories with flirty banter, steamy sex, and some hilarious escapades as the guy tries to convince his love they're meant to be, you'll enjoy Ian Dalton's books.

You can find Ian at www.iandaltonbooks.com or drop him a note at ianwdalton@gmail.com.

Dalton has also released many of his books in a less explicit form under the pen name Luke Young. If you'd like a little less heat with your sex comedy, be sure to check out Young's Friends With...Benefits series.
